La Torcia Brick Oven Pizza - Lumberton

The customer service was excellent. Our server, Tamieka, was very attentive and pleasant. The manager, Trey, checked on us throughout our meal. The food was great. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I sat there for 15 minutes without ever being acknowledged by a server. We walked in with only 2 other tables taken. After we sat down 3 other tables came in one at a time. They were greeted within a few minutes. My wife even made eye contact with the waitress for the table next to us. Still nothing. This was 615 on a Saturday night with a full staff. I understand these things happen when a place is overly busy, but in this case, it was rather inexcusable to just blatantly ignore a table. We left without ever being talked to. In reading some other reviews this seems to be a reoccurring issue. I hope they can figure this out because menu looked good, and the reviews on food are positive.

Our staff was Raegan, Thomas, Sly. Even though there were only these three working, they held it down and took care of a full Friday lunch crowd, very pleasant, drink was never empty, best service I've gotten here in years.

If I could give a zero on service, I would! The service sucks terribly! It all starts with management. Seems as if everyone needs to be replaced there or just shut the place down.

Do better brick oven pizza. Place was not busy. Sat down and it took someone about 10 minutes to bring menus and take our drink order. It then took them another 20 minutes to come back and take our order. Put in our order and it then took another 30-45 minutes to get said order. Waitstaff was walking around giving off the vibe that they wanted to be anywhere but there. Got our bill and instead of waiting 2 seconds (literally) for my husband to hand him our card to pay, he walks off. 5 minutes later a different kid comes and takes our check and the original waiter brings it back. I now understand why that place is never busy. Don’t get me wrong, the food is great! The waitstaff needs to be improved upon. Probably won’t be going back.

ABSOLUTELY INSANE!! I’ve never posted a review in my life but this restaurant is unacceptable! 15 minutes to even get asked about drinks, another 10 to receive them…. we ordered everything at once cause if we didn’t i could only imagine how long it would have taken for someone to come get them….. we ordered 2 appetizers, pizza and meatball sub, i intentionally timed them… 30 minute wait for the apps and then another 15 for our mains, food was really good i will say that but omg not for the wait…. then we decided to order a small desert… there was barley anyone in the restaurant at this point so figured it would be quick… nope, another 30 minute waiting on desert that never came. ended up just walking out! Truly insane. never seen anything like it in my life….

Been sitting here at least 15 minutes. Haven't gotten the drinks we ordered yet and waiter still hasn't taken our order. There is only two other tables right now so its not busy. Waiter went to another table twice to check on them and didn't come to us. I can't say anything about the food because I haven't got it yet. The service so far had been pretty poor.

Good is most of the time pretty good. However the speed and efficiency of this place is brutal. Came in at 1:00 on a Monday with 4 tables occupied. It took 45 minutes to get the pizza. Can’t afford to come back it takes too long!

Brick Oven Pizza

in Lumberton really hits the spot. This isn't one of those fancy-schmancy places; it's just a clean, comfortable restaurant that focuses on doing one thing right: making great pizza.

The atmosphere is low-key and casual, a perfect spot to relax after a long day. The place has a cozy feel, and while it gets busy, it’s not loud and crazy. The service is consistently friendly and attentive, with a staff that seems to genuinely care about getting your food right.

The crust is thin and crunchy, just the way I like it—not too thick, not too thin. The toppings are generous, fresh, and high-quality, and you can tell they aren't skimping on the good stuff. For a guy who loves meat and potatoes, the Bubba's Choice pizza is another winner. Pair it with one of their cold beers, and you're all set.

If you're in the mood for something other than pizza, the Bubba's Choice pizza is a definite hit you can't go wrong.

The food is great and the service is fairly quick. No issue really since it's freshly baked. The issue is at the end. They will often go up to you during the meal to see how things are going, but once you're finished and want to pay to leave, they disappear. Busy or not.

No one get the medium size pizza. It’s like a personal pan size. A complete rip off. Way too expensive for what you get as well. Nothing special. And still didn’t get my ranch after asking twice.

Beers cold and food is good but slooooooooooooow service last few times with only 6 tables so not busy
