Finally got a chance to go back out to Pinnacle for the first time since they finished the new greens. They were unbelievable especially for the time of year we are in. The new greens roll and play like nothing in the state of Texas that’s for sure. Tim and the entire crew have done an amazing job with this place the last few years and the new greens just push it over the top. 10/10 would recommend checking it out if you have never been.
First off, this course was in phenomenal shape! Especially during the winter. Absolutely stunning views. I saw 2 heard of dear just run across #2 and another on 7. Like 12 of them!Now For the rough part. Bonnie.... she must have been having a rough day. When I walked in she says, what do you want? Proceeds to check me out with no welcome, no kindness and was absolutely rude! She then proceeded to send out 2 groups right behind me. I cannot speak highly enough about Pinnacle’s on-staff golf pro - Coach Sean. He is truly a different breed. He worked so well with my 12-yr old son, improved his swing immensely, and gave him some awesome opportunities to learn beyond just a driving range - but actually on a course. This guy knows his stuff and will try many different techniques to find something that works.The course is very pretty and the rest of the staff is extremely pleasant as well.
