Excellent place to stop in on a road trip! The employees were all very friendly and attentive, they doted on my young children and the ice cream at the end was a huge hit. The food was great. No complaints! Will prob stop in again on our way home!

First time trying it out and can verify it will not be the last! Everyone was so polite and welcoming. I swear our waitress was a mind reader because she was on point with everything! The food was so good. We did breakfast and everything was wonderful! I'm not a fan of pancakes in general, but I truly enjoyed theirs. The biscuits were amazing. In fact, I had to get one to go for later.

Been around since 1917, and so glad not much has changed!
Friendly breakfast servers, locals discussing weather and cattle prices, 25¢ coffee, in a classic cafe on the Madisonville square.
Food is basic but still very tasty. Biscuits are a must…crispy top/bottom crusts and hot flaky inside with a huge gob of butter!
Sausage is very good, nice spice.
And 25¢ never-empty coffee!
Get off IH-45 and come into town for a step back in...
