Chris took care of us and he did a great job! We ordered crawfish, and added spicy garlic sauce, it was tasty! The inside is very clean, and the covered patio is a nice spot to hang out.

It's not crowded like other places. No waiting period to be seated. Chris my waiter is the bomb dot com! The crawfish seasoning to me is yummy! The service to me is outstanding but then I am a regular customer. It is located in a great location as well. They also have bingo nights.......

Wanted to try this place out for something quick to eat. When I got there, the only people on the floor were the bartender and a server. Both seemed like they were taking turns for tables. I decided to sit at the bar and was greeted by the bartender, Catherine. She was super kind and friendly. I decide to get a burger and it came out looking/tasting delicious. Beer was cold, food was great, and Catherine was wonderful. I had a good time.

After having been to a couple of different locations, we had high expectations for this one. But we were truly disappointed. The cheese curds were amazing, and the Caesar salad was good. But the fish and chips were lacking flavor and unappealing, and the catfish Mardi Gras was bland. Our server was great, and we didn't have the heart to tell her that the food wasn't good. But we won't be back.

Monday 2/12 the bartender looked like she didnt want to be there. AT ALL. You could tell by the baggy sweatpants, messy bun and crocs she was wearing. im a bartender as well and was watching her make drinks…..let’s just say she needs some training on her pours & PLEASE shake drinks that need to be shaken. There was a brown headed girl server who was correcting her on the drinks sometimes (thank god for her) or else people would’ve had funky drinks. this is why you dont allow younger people (she looked underage to us) who can’t taste the drinks tend bar. they allow normal crocs now, crop tops and baggy sweat pants? other than the less enthusiastic bartender the food was great!

I love the food at 242, but never order for delivery!I ordered at 4:15 for 242 Bar and grill which is less than 2 miles from my house. Grubhub sent a text saying I would get my delivery between4:44 - 4:59, at 4:42 y’all sent another text saying it would deliver between5:09 - 5:29! My Oder was delivered at 5:30 ICE COLD. This is unexceptionable!Not sure why your driver took so long, but I will never use GrubHub again!

Not sure what happened, used to order food from here all the time, last few months just isn’t up to snuff. Had a shrimp and pasta meal that I ordered all the time, it went south, Cajun chicken and pasta same thing, been sticking to the boudan balls, which are delicious. Went in there tonight, stood at the counter for a few minutes, not a single server in sight, walked out. Done no more from me.
Service was alright but they only had enough Bloody Mary mix to do 2 Bloody Mary's, ran out of Coca-Cola, & their Mimosas tasted like they only had orange juice with triple sec, no champagne. So much for the Pub part.

We went here while visiting someone in Texas. The food was great. They seemed a bit short staffed for lunch on a Saturday but handled it relatively well. I really enjoyed my cajun pasta with shrimp.
