This is the first bad review I’ve ever had to write and I’m so disappointed. I have NEVER been spoken to so rudely in my life! No hello- nothing, and she was even making faces at the sweet elderly couple ahead of me like she wanted them gone. As they were leaving, I approached the counter, I asked the (older) lady how she was doing and she didn’t even reply, and gave me a smirk like I was a huge bother for even being in the store. She was totally condescending when I’d ask a question. I asked to have filled donuts mixed in with the dozen- “NOPE, THOSE COST EXTRA”, (ok, charge me more for those like an upgrade or something), zero flexibility. Standard donuts or nothing. She couldn’t hear me when I told her what flavors to add so I had to speak up and I felt like I was yelling at her. I would have even bought the 4 remaining filled ones they had left aside from the dozen, but she didn’t even offer and just wanted me gone. I asked about ham/cheese kolaches and she was like “WE’RE SOLD OUT OF THAT!” As I’m looking at 4 other flavors she could have suggested. I then just told her to choose the remaining donuts and simply left. I live in the neighborhood behind this store and I’ll never go back. Even the chairs were on the tables like they were closing and they had an hour left to be open. The young man in the back looked at me and I shook my head and mouthed “So RUDE”! I could tell he agreed with me and I felt bad that he had to work with her. As a business owner, she wouldn’t be working in my store with an attitude like that. I wish I had not bought anything because the donuts were also disappointing. 😞

I have nothing bad to say about this bakery other than the fact that I do not like eggs and they have a kolache that is bacon and cheese and it is so good but they only make one batch a day and it’s only six of them and then they have one that’s called a ranchero That stays there all day. I’m sure so I don’t know who I need to get in contact with, but they need to make more bacon and cheese kolache cause I went out of my way this morning and they were all gone. Only 8:52 AM so I got the second best thing which is their sausage bites
Yummy for your tummy...Donuts 🍩 Kolaches and Breakfast Croissants!! 🥐! You can never go wrong stopping by this place for morning breakfast!! Food is always fresh and delicious! We always come to this shop for donuts! Even though I have three young kids and a drive-thru is more convenient, this place is so good it's worth it!
First and last time coming here… $5.20 for two normal donuts, not even filled or sprinkles, just a normal chocolate donut… most places charge $1.30 for a donut. Over charging for nothing special…

Check your orders before you leave. If you order a filled donut, make sure it’s filled. We’ve gone to bite into our “filled” donuts at least three separate times now and there’s nothing inside, or maybe a minuscule squirt of filling. We’ve left with entire breakfast sandwiches missing from our order not realizing it until we get home. If you call up there, just fyi: there’s no manager according to the staff. And the owner has multiple businesses and is never there according to them too. When I called to complain, you could clearly tell the lady on the phone didn’t care. She was flippant and lacked any sort of customer service. Staff trained with proper customer service would say something like: “I’m so sorry your order wasn’t satisfactory. Please come back by and we will make it right.” You will not get that with this place. It’s a shame we have to lower our expectations here in Magnolia due to the lack of options on this side of town.

If I ask for filled donuts I expect them to actually be filled not just one drop and the rest hollow. Learn to actually fill the donuts in not paying for a empty donut.
If the owner is wondering why sales are low the last hour of business, it's because the staff consistently says they're closed or in the process of closing. Very rude attitude and it's not that serious, we're ordering a couple donuts that you put in a bag. Kept giving them a shot from time to time but I finally learned my lesson. Not worth it.

Okay so ,my first time stopping by (been wanting to give them a try)….I really felt uncomfortable since I walked in. The cashier had the baddest rudest attitude ever!! I was the only costumer waiting, when I paid I asked the cashier what flavors the had for the fillings, and she answers: “ma’am all the flavor are up there!” So she points to the wall real mad. And once I read them all I ask :”so all flavor are available?” And then she answered “as far as I know we should” but you could tell she was bothered by me asking ? then I hear the door another costumer stands behind me…so I ask her if I could please have a filled strawberry donut….like literally low voice and asking PLEASE and she answers:” well that is going to take a long time plus there’s someone behind you” OH MY GOD I can not believe how rude she is!! She needs to work on her costumer service skills!!!!! Shame!!! I know we all have hard days but lord!! I’m glad my donuts, kolache were delicious!!

Egg and ham croissant was absolutely disgusting. Had no cheese and 1 slice of very thin grey looking ham couldn’t even eat more than 2 bites. Lady working the cash register was not very helpful. Didn’t ask if I wanted them heated up or not. I had to ask her. She was extremely rude to the customer after me also. I would pick a different doughnut shop if you want good customer service and good food.

The reviews on this place are a hit and miss, decided to try it out anyway...I bought 6 kolaches, an apple fritter, 2 chocolate donuts with sprinkles, 2 chocolate donuts without sprinkles and a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich... literally everything was delicious. The Jalapeno and cheese kolaches were my favorite, I'll be going back for more.
Walked in 30 minutes prior to closing (didn't realize it was about that time). Was told by the lady working the counter "just trying to go home" when I asked how she was doing. She was very rude throughout the conversation... :/
It's located near the washateria and is the perfect little snack or treat as your washing clothes the lady and the service is also very polite and kosher
I’m from California. I was in Texas for two months for RenFest. Single best donut shop I’ve ever been to. Their donuts are unbelievably delicious. The most luscious and flavorful Bavarian cream I’ve ever had, along with brilliantly executed donut pastry. And it’s not just donuts — Those chicken and mushroom pastries are straight out of The Shire. The only thing that could ever rival the food in this establishment, is the service. Unfailingly warm and welcoming staff that possess that unique talent of making you feel like you’re a regular from your first steps in the door. The last thing I did leaving Magnolia was to get a few maple bars to go, and it’ll be the first thing I do when I come back.47/10 would recommend.
Best bakery in the area! So conveniently located next to a Washateria that we (Tartanic) visit every week! From donuts to some amazing fresh breakfast sandwiches there is just enough pleasant seating and lounge space to enjoy your breakfast while waiting on the dryer next door.
