Driving back to H-town, we stopped at Deacon Baldy’s to check out the BBQ truck we heard about. Boy am I glad we did. It was amazing. We tried the brisket, burnt ends and turkey. It’s hard to believe the turkey could be better than the burnt ends but I believe it was. I can’t believe how moist they were. Also great was the Mac and Cheese and even the iced tea. I’ll be back. I’ve got my eyes on the ribs next. Well done BBQ Godfather.
Every time I come to Deacon Baldy’s I have to get the burnt ends! Best in town for sure, but best in the state that I’ve had thus far no doubt! I’ve been meaning to leave a recommendation for some time now but better late than never!

BBQ Godfather is a food truck located near Deacon Baldy's in Huntsville. The ribs, brisket, burnt ends, and Mac and Cheese are highly recommended. The ribs were flavorful and fell off the bone, and the burnt ends were good. The brisket is amazing, with a great rub and super tender. The portion sizes are generous - the chopped brisket sandwich was so big that one customer couldn't even finish it. The food is hot, fresh, and delicious. Definitely worth a try for a fantastic BBQ experience.
