Blue Iguana Taco House

I come from Chicago , we have been to a couple of restaurants and had many disappointments, this one though was Great.
Love the decor , Service Excellent! And Food was Delicious. Definitely will be back !!

The food was great. I visited on a Sunday after church and there wasn’t very people there. It felt very slow for a church crowd kinda day.

Very cute restaurant, nicely busy during happy hour but not too packed to get a table. The food was fine, but a bit bland. Steak fajitas tacos were slightly overcooked. Chicken tortilla soup was really good. I would recommend and have that again.
Happy hour margaritas were not particularly strong. Might be just a happy hour thing.
Staff was friendly and pleasant. The wait for drinks was a little long. Again, could have been a factor of a busy bar during happy hour.

No longer allow pets on patio. We were turned away today with our small dogs contained in a pet stroller. Previously, pets were allowed on the patio. The Google listing here hasn't been updated to reflect this recent policy change. A shame because we used to enjoy dining here for tasty food, but, Blue Iguana is now dead to us.

They are more expensive than some of the other Mexican restaurants around, but their street tacos are fantastic and I would gladly pay more for the deliciousness here! Their staff is also always friendly, and my drink is never empty here. Highly recommend!!

I love Mexican food and don’t get me wrong the food here is okay. But it’s really gross that my cup was clearly dirty. I came in and ordered a drink when the waitress came with my drink there was hard food stuck INSIDE the cup with my drink it it. I also noticed my silverware was dirty. And because of this I won’t be coming back it’s just a big no for me. I understand losing one customer doesn’t really matter but this is really gross.

Just compared to Las Fuentas, ordered chalupas and frozen margarita. Less meat on chalupa, price higher. Margarita not as good at Las Fuentas, price higher. Loud music coming from kitchen with some partying going on back there dominated the atmosphere.

We've been here twice after church with my grandparents. It's our new fave! It's not as loud as others, the tables were spaced apart enough that you aren't distracted by other conversations. The music wasnt blaring so you don't have to scream at each other. And it is by far my favorite taco salad EVER!

We moved to Magnolia and this was a perfect, warm and inviting welcome. Everything was great.

This place used to be our favorite but lately, service and food has declined.

It was 4 star for years until the renovation recently. Now outside the patio is more enclosed but there is live music, that is too loud. DJ played l, essentially, your typical wedding reception playlist. Not even a single tejano song. Lame. Totally different vibe that which is just not the same. It was our favorite place to eat in town but now, I don't see returning. Windows need shades. The setting sun is terrible. The fans are not oscillating so the air is stagnant if you're directly in front of one. Overall, the reno I give it a C.
