HOLY BULGOGI!!!!
The bulgogi fries might be one of the best things I've had the pleasure of trying in the last year. So many flavors and tender steak! I'm absolutely torn though, the Pringle chicken is unlike anything I've ever tasted! I refuse to eat normal fried chicken ever again lol!
I'm very glad I decided to stop and try something new on the way home from work. You guys have two new regulars. My son and I will probably be asleep in a food coma in an hour!!
Great job!

The best Korean-style chicken in town. Yang Num Chicken is very authentic, and we can't wait to try other dishes on the menu.

Ok. We’re Koreans and dont take fried chicken lightly.. i lived in Seoul for 25 yrs before coming to US..
Ive tried chicken everywhere and this IS the best place in Houston (if not texas), Only place comparable are the LA and New york places, better than the ones in Houston (bbq, bonga).
The chicken is fresh (not frozen), the yang-nyum sauce is real with real Gochujang, and the oil they fry it is fresh. The portions are huge for the price.. An absolute gem in the neighborhood.
So, note. the Place looks like ghetto and it does take 20mins for the chicken (which if u do it right in Korea that is the right amount of time). I would suggest people to call ahead and order and then pick up.

Had the bulgogi fries and the fried mandu - both were delicious, and the combo was a filling meal for two.

This is a hidden gem though I am not thrill with the road construction situation. I do hope the construction outside gets clear quickly. Getting in and out was a challenge.
I ordered the bulgogi fries... very good. My hubby that is not excited with potato products... he had seconds n advise me that I can reorder next time. That's the greatest compliments from him. 😀
Fried chicken...I ordered Pringles dried rub...I ❤️ it... my hubby didn't care for it. Maybe because it's sweet and salty.
Texture n crispness was spot on. Would order again.
Fried chicken...Yang Yum...I know a lot of ppl like to keep the chicken crispy so would opt to have the sauce on the side. I would do the same for other fried products; however, for korean fried chicken... it's needs to be coated by the producer. One must consider which one prefers 100%crispy, 50% sauce coating or 100% coating, 80 to 70% crispiness...I picked the latter. 😀
I ordered the bibimbap...looks good but have not had a chance to eat that yet. My eyes are bigger than your stomach. 😞 That will have to wait.
Thank you Mister for your chicken.

My husband and I walked in at 8pm looking for good food. Little did we know this place would far exceed our expectations. BEST KOREAN FRIED CHICKEN we've ever had. The bulgogi fries were so fresh and sauced to perfection. Would definitely be back!

This was a great find today. Fried chicken was perfectly crispy and the sauce was very tasty. We also enjoyed the Kimichi fries. All the flavors were delicious. I just wish the had a little hoisin sauce on them. The cook was very nice and attentive. We stayed afterwards for a while since it was very peaceful. We decided to do some reading and enjoyed the evening.

I was craving Korean fried chicken and I was pleasantly surprised when this spot popped up on my Google search only 10 minutes away from work!
My coworker and I came in for lunch the very next day and ordered 16-piece bone in fried chicken with all 3 available flavors: Korean Pringle (dry rub), Yang Yum (like a sweet chili sticky sauce), Garlic Soy (vinegar soy sauce). We also got the Kimchi Fries. Everything was so delicious and flavorful. My personal favorite list in order would be pringle, garlic soy, yang yum and I would definitely try to Bulgogi Fries next time for more protein.
The owner/chef was so friendly and welcoming. I loved the calm, local-owned vibe of his eatery. I will be coming back in the future to try other things in the menu.
PS. Super clean restroom and please walk around to the other businesses while waiting for your food which he makes by order. The other bakery and coffee shop near by were wonderful too! Leave a review for local businesses like this one so they can be supported and stick around for years to come :D

All the food is made from scratch and to order which means you will have to wait for a little after placing your order but it is extremely worth it. Food tastes incredible. I wouldn't mind if they were able to add one or two more sauces but I highly recommend this place.
