What a wonderful, local Mexican (Jalisco style) restaurant ! ? The server (Emily) was great! We enjoyed bacon-wrapped, stuffed chicken & shrimp, with Mexican rice & charro beans. The broth of the beans was full of flavor & the rice was excellent! The stuffed shrimp/chicken "torpedos" were served atop a sizzling platter, on a bed of carmelized onions! ☺️ The frozen mango margarita with tajin was so yummy & refreshing! On the side, we tried a cheese enchilada topped with Mexican gravy, cheese & chopped onion. Sooooo good!!! Only thing that was just “so-so” were the flour tortillas (a little tough), but other than that, it was a very delicious meal! What a gem to this neighborhood!!! ?

Quesabirria — enough said. My wife and daughter are not big Tex Mex fans but the Tacos Dorado with chicken keeps them coming back; it’s the only Tex Mex place they actively ask to go to! And I’m very happy to oblige.

Hubby had the aguachiles-very good! Teen had the birria & said they were the best he’s ever had. Carnitas were top notch and just like the rice & beans, totally authentic and delicious. We will be coming back! The decor was really nice and creative too! Every design choice complimented the next, even the flatware and glasses were a nice touch in every way. Oh, and good margaritas :) you can’t beat that with a stick.
