We ate here after going to TRF. We got cottage pie and lamb roast. We also tried their custom drinks and coffee. My bf got a lavender lemonade and I got dr pepper with cheesecake flavor. We also got complementary coffee and 3 bean soup. The soup was phenomenal! The salad we got was fresh with quality ingredients. The cottage pie was huge and cooked perfectly. But the real star was the lamb roast. The gravy the yorkshire pudding the giant mushrooms mashed potatoes and roasted potatoes. All together made the perfect bite. The food quality and preparation are outstanding. The serves we received was just as amazing. This is probably the best British restaurant in all of Texas maybe even the United States.

I recently had the chance to stop by Pengus' Place in Magnolia, and wow, what a find! I wasn’t expecting much more than a quick bite, but their sausage biscuits and gravy totally blew me away. They were so good I actually ordered an extra one just to take home! The place has a cozy, inviting vibe, and the staff was super friendly – you can tell they really care about making you feel welcome. Definitely recommend giving it a try if you’re in the area!

I came to this place to get the full English breakfast. I had heard that this restaurant served it and I was very excited. I had always wanted to try it. But it wasn't all good news unfortunately. The restaurant looked rather dingey. It looked dirty, it had flies and looked a bit rundown. I think that they need to improve their upkeep. On the upside, the waitress who served me was very kind, patient and attentive. I can only describe her service as excellent and professional. But it doesn't get better there. The food was mediocre to say the most. The bacon was gray. Why? The sausage and black pudding didn't have a good sear crust on them. The beans were good (of course, they were canned), the mushrooms were ok although I think they could have used a bit more seasoning and the tomatoes were a bit overcooked but passable, I guess. And the eggs were good. The fry bread was good, well cooked and not too greasy. Size-wise, for a breakfast billed as "belly busting," it seemed rather average. Not enough of it for $16.95. Lastly, before I left, I wanted to use the restroom but it was locked. Either they didn't unlock it or there was someone in it. I don't know and it doesn't matter. Because there was a guy sitting behind the restroom, dazed as an oracle. Rather dodgy. In conclusion, my experience here was interesting but underwhelming. I can't recommend it and I probably won't be back. I think the previous owners should be notified. Not a good turnout.

Fish and chips was great! Chips were freshly cut and seasoned perfectly. Fish was also fresh with a tasty batter. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, road construction directly in front of the establishment makes it a little difficult to enter and exit but don't let this deter you! Well worth the wait. I'll be back soon! Thanks for a 5 Star experience!

Hand cut french fries and hand battered fish were steaming hot and crispy. The only adjective I can think of is perfect.
Vegetarian options: The potato soup is perfect.
