Absolutely loved this place! Drove an hour to try it out with my family. My grandson loved the turtles and the staff let him even feed them. The burgers were huge and delicious. Happy hour always a plus. But the best part is when you have an amazing server to make you feel like you are at home. Adriana was a hoot and knew everything we asked her. She was a great addition to the time we had and we wouldnt have asked for a better waitress! Thank you adriana for a great time!

Little Island of sanity deep in upland pine woods along the 1488 in Magnolia. Shady, whimsical, grounds surround the cafe which offers delicious, fresh, Old Skool preparations served with a smile. It's now in my rotation and should be in yours!

I am not sure what is going on with the new hires but they need lots of more training. My waitress was rude and did not serve me my complete order. Stated she got busy…. Unfortunately I will not be returning for a while.

Food good just small portions for the price. Onion rings out of a box, disappointing. The chicken fried steak was biggest portion compared to grilled chicken, hamburger steak and bun less burger.Parking: Dirt n gravel.

This is a really neat little place. They have indoor, outdoor, and private dining in the treehouse. The staff was super friendly. We just stopped in for a beer to check the place out but did not eat. Smelled great though. Outdoor seating in the woods with corn hole boards available. Frozen mango mimosa was really tasty. Very affordable. We'll definitely be back for food!Kid-friendliness: Great place to take kids. Big tortoises outside the restaurant for them to see.

More rustic fare, but the environment is a perfect fit. A very relaxed pace so not great if you're in a hurry. A family friendly spot with the tortoises who seem to also enjoy the people.

This is a place I'd been curious about for years, and I finally was able to stop by. It is a treehouse in the middle of the woods (its actually quite close to parking), but with more of a southern small-town vibe. There are several tortoises on the way to the front door, but they are only for looking at. They did make the entire space wheelchair accessible, which is why I'm giving two stars. The food, unfortunately, is not the star of the show. We had several items that seemed like freezer food that had been cooked in old grease. I will say that the French Toast was at least edible, so maybe their breakfast options are better. I do believe I heard the waitress say to someone that they serve the entire menu all day. I'm sure for people who love this place, they are loyal. I'd say save the drive unless you're in it for the tortoises.Wheelchair accessibility: The parking lot is a dirt lot, but they do have accessible parking spots marked. People still park very close, so it is almost pointless. The dining area and bathrooms are wheelchair accessible.
