The food has been great across a few visits now. Consistently excellent seafood, clearly prepared with care.

Walked by and asked a basic question about what time the truck opens and closes and the response and overall vibe was rude and dare I say, a little “salty” so I didn’t end up ordering anything and just went to another truck at the park.

Go get the poboy’s, slaw and hush puppies! They’re phenomenally delicious.
Beaux’s BBQ shrimp is tasty too.

Got a chance to try Beaux Southern Seafood and it was a delicious trip down South. The fried catfish plate came out golden and flaky, and their jumbo shrimp po’boy with remoulade sauce was perfectly balanced. Also dug into their shrimp & grits — creamy, comforting, and full of flavor.
The setting is cozy and unpretentious, which works well for this style of food. Staff were welcoming and quick to answer menu questions (especially about spice levels and daily catches). A great spot for southern seafood done right.

Ordered a fried oyster sandwich & it was full of shells. That is an extreme safety hazard. Buyers beware. Could have choked or needed dental work.

Delicious, fresh seafood and reasonable prices for large portions. I’ve been three times now and it’s becoming my go-to spot when I visit the Way South Food Truck Park. I highly recommend trying Beaux if you’re a fan of Po Boys or fish. Try the fried oysters and the coleslaw!

Today I ordered the crab cake po’ boy with a side of fries. This is exactly what gives food trucks a great name. The inside of the bread was toasted and there was a very healthy amount of crab cake. The sandwich had lettuce and tomato and a little chipotle mayor. The flavors were rich, dense, and definitely soulfully throughout. The fries were great. They had a hint of lobster flavor and just enough salt to make each bite tingle. Highly recommended!

The closest you'll get to NOLA food in the Austin area. The hush puppies alone are worth the trip to this truck.
Wrote this review 7 months ago. Live 40 minutes away, but I'm moving to a new home 15 minutes away. Beau is going to be tired of seeing me! If you haven't tried it, bro you are missing out!

Great food! By far the best catfish i’ve had in Austin, only place that’s come close to East Texas Catfish. Alligator and boudin was great as well. Will be coming back!

Was not expecting this gem of a spot in our backyard. The food was incredible. We only tried the alligator poboy this round and it really blew our mind away! The french fries were also really good. Could use a little less salt PS. Otherwise absolutely try this spot. It’s incredible. As you can see we ate before Instagram did.

Seems to often close way before 8 despite what the online hours state.
We’ve tried to eat here many times and the owner is honestly really rude. Not worth it

The food never disappoints. We've tried everything, but our family favorites are, for sure, Fish and Chips, Fish Tacos, Scallop and Shrimp Pontchartrain, Crawfish Etouffee, and all the Baskets. So good!!

Excellent Seafood Gumbo. Packed with seafood, not just a scoop from a big pot. Based on the gumbo, I will not hesitate to try other menu items next visit.
