Stop reading reviews and just go. The vibe here is something you would have found in Austin 15 years ago that sadly just doesn't exist anymore. Except it does... at Texas Keeper. The cidery is tucked away in beautiful oak trees, the owners and staff grow their own herbs and various other plants (lots of native species!) Lindsey and Jill are two of the most genuine and kind people you will ever have the pleasure of knowing. Jill can get lost in literally any type of conversation and Lindsey is incredibly down to earth. These aren't your average drink slingers, they truly care about their craft and product. The owners are REAL PEOPLE who aren't in it for the money. They're in it to create a hidden sanctuary where one can appreciate and enjoy wonderfully crafted ciders and delicately curated small plates. They have lots of austin brands on their menu like Rebel cheese too! The cider is seriously unlike any other American made cider. It drinks more European, which is great for those who aren't into overly sweet ciders. Even though their options are on the drier side, they manage to have something for everyone. So much love and thought has been put into this place and you really feel it when you walk in.

Had our wedding here and the staff really pulled out the stops to put on a great even. Incredible atmosphere, wonderful cider and just a perfect place. Event coordinators were really helpful and the tap room is beautiful. Also good for like, you know, just grabbing a drink under an oak tree!

We booked the cidery for a welcome dinner the night before our wedding at Hummingbird House because of the proximity and the delicious ciders, and our guests absolutely loved it! We only had about 65 people but rented out the whole space for intimacy, and it did not disappoint. We loved the games and live oaks in the yard, and the sunset in the background was an extra special touch. The staff were a delight to work with and were able to recommend ciders for those in our group who were unfamiliar (Auguste Cerise is the best, though). Everything about the event was easy from set up to break down, allowing us to focus on making memories with our loved ones.

My husband stopped in early on my birthday to have a cider and say hi to Lindsey, the manager. She is always so great to see and chat with!
First time I was at Texas Keeper was for a wedding I was working at. They were incredible to work with and I highly recommend this as an event venue! Besides an incredible venue it is a lovely place to go and relax and try a delicious cider! They have all sorts of ciders that are perfect for anyone.
My husband doesn't like cider and Lindsey was able to offer him a couple of different options that had more of a beer focus for the flavor profile. I had the Goldrush (my favorite as it is nice, light and crisp). Let's just say I won as he told me I was right and there was something there that he would like!
I cannot wait to go back, try some other ciders and something off of the food menu!

I absolutely LOVED it here! Like the other reviews say, it gives more of a winery vibe than a brewery/cidery. I came in early afternoon on a Saturday and it was very quiet. Family friendly so there were children and babies, but so respectful and well behaved. I didn't spend time outside because of the heat, but it looked cozy out there as well.
I can't remember the name of the kind woman that helped me, but she seemed very knowledgeable and her recommendations were dead on based off my taste in wine/cider/cocktails in general.
The cider flight was delicious - big fan of the grafter rosé - and I got a glass of the heirloom as well. So delicious that I'm thinking of ordering a few bottles online and shipping them to my home state! The pretzel was great as well - I am not a big pretzel lover so take that with a grain of salt. I'd absolutely be back if I didn't live across the country 😭

I might be just gone on a bad night, but service was slow, and that made everyone have a dingy attitude customer wise

It’s only drink. I didn’t see good on the menu. A very nice place to hangout and chill with friends.
My favorite place in Texas. Thank you guys for always making it magical and peaceful. Picked up some awesome seeds too today
It's like a winery, but with apples. Really cool place with great vibes. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the big patio area, amongst the big live oak trees they have tons of seating including Adirondack chairs. Great place to enjoy a sunset. Would highly recommend if you're trying to get out of the city for a bit. Easy to get to from South Austin or I35. Plenty of parking.
