Been in Austin for decades and this is one of the best Jamaican food experiences I have ever had. Generous portions, great flavor, fresh, and not too oily or overcooked. Everything was perfect. Veggie plate and options were amazing. Definitely recommend.
3 Stars because I usually ALWAYS order from here .. but today I ordered through Uber Eats(like I always do since I live almost 30 mins away) and got Macaroni , Curry shrimp w/ rice and Cabbage🤮🤮 and received old food. Macaroni had Mold in it and tasted very weird Curry shrimp tasted weird also , couldn’t even get a picture fr because I threw it away so quickly. I called Twice and haven’t received a call back. I reported it through uber and haven’t heard anything back...
I ordered for delivery from the Hamilton road location but was underwhelmed by the food. The oxtail lacked seasoning, the rice and peas were bland and the jerk chicken also lacked flavor and spice; the cabbage as well. I couldn’t finish my food, although I was extremely hungry. I had to add my own spices.
