These are massive tamales… with way more masa than there should be. At almost $6 each, I’m
Completely dumbfounded that people are recommending and praising the flavor and quality. Not the worst but very far from the best. Honestly, Tamales from HEB are better.

These are the best tamales I’ve ever had.

The tamales are good, but they always put the wrong labels on them. Every time I buy from them, I end up opening a few tamales and realizing they’re not the ones the label said.

Tried them Today on the Trailside Market and it was delicious! Tried them before and it was awesome 😎. Can’t wait to try again

I’ve had two disappointing experiences at this establishment at Mueller airport. There is a Hispanic lady who is the primary person interfacing with the customers. With such an incredibly bad attitude, I’m not sure why she’s even working there. Find a different job.

Specifically, I bought over a dozen tamales to go, and when I asked for some of the sauce on the side, she admonished me and told me that that was only for clients ordering hot tamales to eat now. When I asked her if there was a different price between hot and cold, she said no. I’m not sure why you wouldn’t give somebody who just bought tamales in quantity the option for the same kind of sauces. To make matters worse, you can’t even buy the sauce there. or she certainly didn’t offer it us. Sort of like ordering french fries to eat without ketchup, or barbecue without barbecue sauce.

I think all of this was exacerbated when she was clearly expecting me to tip her a generous amount. This tipping culture has gone out of hand. You are literally handing me a package from behind the counter.
The tamales are pretty decent, but it certainly isn’t enough to keep me coming back. Not with this kind of attitude.
I know this establishment will respond with their purpose and philosophy, and that they are dealing with this person, etc., etc. But the fact is, she will still be here one year from now.

If you like feeling abused, then this is a great place for you to be gaslit into thinking that there’s something wrong with you. No thank you.

I picked up three tamales at the Round Rock market @ the newly renovated Memorial Park area. The Beef Ting is my favorite but the Chicken Mole and the Spinach tamales were excellent as well. I appreciated the masa to meat ratio and the masa itself is just yummy. Steamed them and they are a quick and delicious addition to my freezer grab and go life! Thank you and see you next weekend for more!!

I had a very disappointing experience at the Mueller market today. When I arrived to the Tamale Addiction tent and I saw that the vendor woman was probably hispanic I spoke to the her in Spanish, but she responded in English with a rude expression. When I asked simple questions — like if she had packs of 3 tamales or if she only had frozen or just about the price, I honestly think she was not very clear and she rolled her eyes and said, “ya te dije, pero no sé por qué no me entiendes,” (I told you but I don’t know why you don’t understand me) with a horrible expression and tone.
I asked if she was having a bad day, trying to be kind, but she became defensive and aggressive. When I reminded her I was a customer, she snapped, “You are treating me? Don’t tell me to be careful!” Her actitud made the whole interaction uncomfortable and upsetting. I told her to be careful with how they treat the customer. She was the must horrible vendor I ever met in any store, shop or restaurant.
Someone with that attitude should not be representing our community or selling anything. I ended up buying only two tamales. I honestly wish her a good life and a beautiful days 🙏 💕 so she can overcome whatever she is going through. Tamales are great!

I attened a party, and the main course was tamales from tamale addiction. Im sad to report that the beef option was a little dry and underseasoned, but had a decent masa to filling ratio. The mole option was wonderfully seasoned and cooked, but had a little too much masa for my liking. The mole was seriously awesome, and as such I would like to give that and some of their other flavors a try. Im not sure how expensive each individual tamale is, but the size of each tamal seems absolutely worth the price. This seems like a genuinely good establishment, and I would encourage people to give them a try in the event that the beef option was a simple fluke. The taste of the masa itself and the shape of the tamales were both high quality.

We traveled through Georgetown and stopped at the Wolf Ranch Town Center Farmers Market where we the found Tamale Addiction vendor. Being a sucker for food in general, especially tamales, we approached the tent. The lady was friendly and helped us choose which tamale to try based on our preferences. The Chicken Mole with red sauce is the best tamale we have ever had -- and we love tamales. We went back for more. Highly recommend!

We ordered the Pork al Pastor and Beef Tinga tamales for our family for Christmas Eve this year and were so impressed. The online ordering was super easy and we were able to select a free delivery of frozen tamales in a timeframe that worked well for us. Everyone enjoyed them and remarked at how delicious they were. Mariana was communicative and hand delivered herself. Would absolutely recommend!

Lady was very friendly! You can only buy to go and stem them to eat as they serve restaurants and stores vs public. Tamales are good little thick on the masa but the filling is good! I tried chicken

I had some at a wake. They were delivered I am thinking. I tasted a few of them. I like the chicken mole and the chiapaneco flavors the most. I am hoping they make a sweet potato, roasted pecan and chicken as well. ? I have been waiting to find a green chili, pineapple and chicken one, too! ? all the ones they make are delicious in their own right. Not greasy and one could possibly feed 2 people especially if ya have a side dish with them-especially the bananna leaf wrapped ones. I like the masa and how it is not dried out and has a sweet flavor.

Vegetarian options: There's something good for vegetarians. Yummy desserts too!

I do NOT love all tamales equally. I met Tamale Addiction at a Festival and was impressed. The masa is firm but juicy. Perfect balance. No grease. The fillings I tried were the spinach + caramelized onion & the black bean + goat cheese. Salsas were on point, too. Thank you for a splendid snack when I needed it more. The hibiscus tea was the bomb to boot. Keep up the good masa!
