Been to this location a few times. Service has always been great. Food is good for the price. This visit things were off quite a bit. First, the service and food were good - pork chop, chicken fried chicken, mac-n-cheese, broccoli rice casserole, and baked potato (dinner rolls are now half the size they used to be). Second and most importantly, the cleanliness at this location is questionable. We always wipe our table off with disinfectant wipes (post pandemic practice). Although the table "appeared" clean, the disinfectant wipes told a very different story. They looked like we had used them to wipe the floor. Nasty! The initial three sets of flatware had large pieces of food still stuck on them and our server graciously apologized and replaced them. The replacements had food stuck to them too. Before we had to ask, he provided packaged plasticware. Great move! The appetizer plates were filmy to so we didn't use them. At that point we asked for to-go cups for our beverages to be on the safe side. The dots are not connecting in a restaurant when customers are presented with dirty dishes. Our server was very kind and apologetic. He should not have to be. Check the sanitary practices at this location before it goes downhill.

The food is always decent here, they have great sides. It's one of our favorite chains, but this location is always mostly empty and the last time we went they butterflied a fillet mignon steak. It was so chewy I couldn't eat it. I hope they told their kitchen staff to not do this again, and possibly retrain them on how to cook a decent steak.

I l9ve CP it's a sad situation when you've been to your favorite resturant and noticed that the place is empty and no 1 wants to serve you this is our 3rd trip and we're not going back. We will try other locations like cedar Hill or highlands bf we let go of our favorite place to eat its truly a management issue with the employees lack of training bc no one greets you for a long while as if there wanting you too just leave, when you finally get seated be prepared to sit with no service you can feel the excitement ad you leave

Breading on the chicken fried chicken was very hard, almost teeth breaking, it was like over cooked corn flakes. This was my 2nd time trying them. First time I tried, I had the catfish that wasn't cooked all the way and they used fish fry, which turns golden before the fish is done. All it takes is seasoned flour and egg wash for chicken. If they fillet it, they wouldn't have to cook it so long because it's too thick. It becomes dry. With catfish or pangaseus, use yellow seasoned flour and not fish fry.

Had all you can eat fish Friday, 20 min to get food forgot hushpuppy, waited 10 min for hushpuppy order more fish, waited for 20 min for that, should have ordered fish dinner would of been quicker

This place has seen a steady decline in service, quality and cleanliness. Absolutely a dumpster fire here. Food is horrible, server was lost, didn't know the menu. Never came back to check up, and then hovered overnus while I paid the bill at the kiosk they bring you, rolling his eyes at the tip amount I chose as he preselected 20%Run away safe you family the pain of this place and go somewhere else.

Server was not good at all. One example, I asked for unsweetened tea and she brought me sweet tea! There were several other issues. But too many to mention.

Went and ate here tonight and it was horrible. I went with my husband and daughter and the service was horrible, the woman's bathroom was nasty, and the atmosphere was ok. I got the beef tips and took a small bite and found out they was spicy. I asked our waitress about exchanging the beef tips for something else. I got chicken tenders that was less expensive and still had to pay for the beef tips and chicken tenders. I told the waitress I have health problems that I can't have spicey foods. And she seemed like it was a incovienance to exchange the beef tips for the chicken tenders. Our waitress didn't really check on us or anything. She seemed like she didn't want to work tonight and didn't care about the customers. I won't be back to this cotton patch cafe unless things change. Oh and when we was seated we didn't get any utensils to eat with and when we asked for them it was about 5 minutes before she brought them to me.

Our server seamed like she did not want to be working. Only cam and checked on us once, had to flag her down for a second visit (with a restaurant that was that slow is unexepetable). My wife ordered beef tips and the spices used upset her ulcer with one bite. We asked if she could EXCHANGE it for chicken tenders the waitress seamed annoyed. Ended up paying for the beef tips and the chicken even with it being an exchange for a cheaper meal. And what's up with being handed a card reader to pay? I have never seen that at any Cotton Patch location. Would have asked for a manager but with how all the staff was just standing around I could tell that would have been a waste of time for 2 reasons, 1 there was no manager and that's why the service was not good or 2 the manager was there and didn't care on how the employees were acting and what not.

We love Cotton Patch- my husband normally orders from the app and has no issues. I ordered under Yelp which was delivered by Grub Hub. When my order arrived. We were missing 3 items and had an incorrect item I called the restaurant to let them know and I was totally dismissed by the man that answered the phone. He pretty much said too bad- it's Grub Hub's fault. No apology or solution. He seemed inconvenienced and irritated. I was very put off my his shortness By the way, I did call GH after and had wonderful customer service and was refunded for the missing items. Cotton Patch should take notes from them. I won't be ordering again.
