Las Palmas Mexican Restaurant

Las Palmas is one of my favorite Mansfield Mexican restaurants. From their sweet tea, thin chips and zesty salsa, to their great entrées and picture perfect desserts, Las Palmas scores big with this Texan. This night I had their Camarones Mexico. Large shrimp cooked with jalapeños, onions, tomatoes, and ranchero sauce served with rice and refried beans. It is my go-to dish when I want an explosion of flavor dancing across my tongue. I don't leave more than a grain of rice on plate when I'm finished. I usually follow up with a dessert and gave my server the thumbs up to bring a dessert of her choosing. She brought out a beautifully plated flan and ice cream covered and drizzled with caramel and chocolate syrup. A perfect ending to a table for one date with myself.

Great service and delicious food. I really, really liked the shrimp cocktail. Wish it had a bit more avocado, but it was very tasty. Got the shrimp fajitas and those were grilled to perfection. Next time I plan on trying the steak fajitas and can provide and update then. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

1st day down on a taped down with duct tape seat. Second took a while for chips and hot sauce. One waitress, so took a while. Got taco salads made mine and husbands stomach hurt later. Asked for ranch with chips, she said they needed the small amount left for our salad. 😳 wanted to like this place. But never again.

Loved it so much we went back a 2nd time! Server/bartender Yohanah was exceptional! Very attentive! Food served fast and hot! Hubby had Tacos al Carbon and I had the Pollo con Championes served on sizzling plate. It was nice and hot. We went during Happy hour and hubby had reg frozen margarita and I had the jalapeno on the rocks margarita...so good!!! Definitely will be our go to for great Mexican food!

fast service and great food! the margaritas are 10/10 and the food came out quick and was amazing, couldn't have them pick up my plate with food on it. definitely will be coming back!

Parking: there was plenty of parking in the front and on the side of the building

Man this place is wonderful, the food is always great! The service is wonderful, they are fast and polite. I would recommend going here anytime someone wants Tex-Mex/ Mexican food in the DFW area.

I loved the chimichanga, normally not a fan but las Palmas’s was delicious! I got a strawberry margarita with Tajín on the rim and it was definitely one of the best. Props to Jorge for giving the best service.
