We absolutely loved this place, great prices, great food, good beers, friendly staff and in an area where there aren't too many food options, it was a delightful find, especially when we didn't think they'd be open.
Good food!
Brisket was good, bbq sauce was hot and hotter. Need a sweet variety. Friendly staff, expect it to be noisy if crowded.
Stopped here in the way through Marathon Texas. Only open Thursday to Sunday. Go earlier as it can sell out. Husband got the brisket and sausage, I got ribs. All of it was excellent. Jalapeño Mac n cheese, potato salad all amazing. Worth a trip! And the town is pretty cool too!
Not Cheap but worth every penny. I had the 2 meat and was recommended the sausage and brisket, both excellent. My wife had the 1 meat ribs with Elote and mac n cheese for her 2 sides, I went classic cole slaw and potato salad and all the sides were excellent. Just stopped passing through and with we could eat here again.
We def enjoyed this place after a day of fun in Big Bend.
First of all, i got into town on a Monday and to my surprise it was closed. They open on Thursday. So I had to wait to get my BBQ on. It's totally worth the wait. Everything was very good and tasty. I do feel the prices could have been a little more reasonable on the sides and dessert. Spent $56 for 2 ppl, in hindsight, I should have just bought the meat and took it back to the camper that way, I could make it last longer. Great laid back atmosphere, everyone was friendly.
Everything was dang good!!! Definitely recommend this place.
Its worth skipping. The BBQ sauce was not good with the meat. Had to ask for bread with my meal.
Excellent bbq

Amazing service and food. Will be back
Excellent food and lovely vibe. Stopped off for a quick lunch driving back from Big Bend and so glad we did! We had the sausage, pulled pork, brisket and ribs and sides of beans, elote, potato salad and mac n cheese. All tasty, highlights were the pulled pork, brisket and elote. Looked like a great selection of beers although we didn’t sample as driving. Sat outside in the courtyard which was lovely and had tables in sun and in shade. Recommend!
We had a great lunch here. Our dogs enjoyed it too!
Food was fantastic and the staff friendly. We will definitely be back.
If your looking for good BBQ this is not your spot. If your looking for a meal to kill your hunger pains then this place will suffice. Family of five we came in around 6:00pm and spent over $130. Brisket was at least a day old mabye more, spare ribs we're at least a day old and reheated, potato salad is out of a tub. Elote was oily and bland. I would recommend go to the French grocer and buy a sandwich or some groceries and just cook your own meal. Or just drive over to Alpine and grab dinner. Only 25 minutes drive to Alpine. Sorry brick vault y'all need to get back to the basics. It's simple just serve fresh BBQ.
A bit out of the way, but worth it! This is a brewery and BBQ joint. It's a nice concept, but with a smaller establishment I didn't feel it worked. Bbq joints often are trying to get people in and out quickly due to crowds, while bars/breweries try to keep people in longer. This place is on the smaller side, and when we arrived there were a lot of people there to drink with very few tables to eat at. Outside seating is available, but with the high winds and dust that day it wasn't feasible.
Food - family and I had the brisket, regular sausage, turkey, brown sugar glazed carrots and green Chile Mac and cheese. All of it was fantastic. Those carrots were amazing. We ordered a to-go cup. I felt the brisket was lacking some seasoning that day, but I won't hold it against them. It happens. Won't fault them.
