Might have been fun if they'd actually been open Wednesday night like Google Maps says they are.

The brisket, slaw, and beans were great. The jalapeno sausage was either old or overcooked or both. 2 meats and 2 sides is $22.

When in Marathon, Texas you must try the wonderful food and great beer at the Brick Vault! The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The beer selection is great! They provide the standard beer offerings along with local craft beer that alternates. Stop by and try it out.

Good BBQ in Marathon one of my places in the Big Bend area. The brisket is excellent nice smoke ring and good bark would put it up with most of the top places in the state. Jalepeno cheddar sausage very good with sides green chile mac and barrachio beans. House made pickles good. Craft beer good enjoyed their Kolsch tried their red amber it was nothing special. Overrall this is a good bbq place and worth the stop.

They're open for limited hours/days so check ahead of time, but well worth the visit. They had 6 craft beers on tap and a decent selection of liquor. I highly recommend the ribs. The brisket was good, but a bit dry. I had the boracho beens (2 thumbs up) and the corn (2 more than the thumbs up, if that's possible...). The bartender was terrific.

We absolutely loved this place, great prices, great food, good beers, friendly staff and in an area where there aren't too many food options, it was a delightful find, especially when we didn't think they'd be open.

Brisket was good, bbq sauce was hot and hotter. Need a sweet variety. Friendly staff, expect it to be noisy if crowded.

Stopped here in the way through Marathon Texas. Only open Thursday to Sunday. Go earlier as it can sell out. Husband got the brisket and sausage, I got ribs. All of it was excellent. Jalapeño Mac n cheese, potato salad all amazing. Worth a trip! And the town is pretty cool too!

Not Cheap but worth every penny. I had the 2 meat and was recommended the sausage and brisket, both excellent. My wife had the 1 meat ribs with Elote and mac n cheese for her 2 sides, I went classic cole slaw and potato salad and all the sides were excellent. Just stopped passing through and with we could eat here again.

First of all, i got into town on a Monday and to my surprise it was closed. They open on Thursday. So I had to wait to get my BBQ on. It's totally worth the wait. Everything was very good and tasty. I do feel the prices could have been a little more reasonable on the sides and dessert. Spent $56 for 2 ppl, in hindsight, I should have just bought the meat and took it back to the camper that way, I could make it last longer. Great laid back atmosphere, everyone was friendly.

Its worth skipping. The BBQ sauce was not good with the meat. Had to ask for bread with my meal.
