Stopped here on our way out of Big Bend. Service was excellent and my husband said the bacon cheese burger was one of the best he's ever had. I ordered the chalupa plate and it was okay. The refried beans didn't have seasoning/flavor and the Spanish rice was also a bit lackluster flavor-wise. My son ordered the red beef enchiladas and he said they were okay. Having said all that, it was the first warm meal in a few days so it got the spot.

$85 for BREAKFAST!!! And it was over cooked and awful!! Do yourself a favor and drive the 25 minutes to Alpine for food or make it yourself. This whole town is a ripoff. Won’t be stopping here again.

Food was slightly on the bottom side of average. There aren't a lot of options in Marathon but I'll look for something else next time. But... If someone invites me to meet them there for lunch, I'll go back and try it again.

Best hamburgers we have had anywhere!!! (Even home.) Super people, super service. We have eaten here every day of our visit, trying something different each time. Mexican food is great too.

It was great. Staff were attentive and gracious. If they had toasted the hamburger bun would have made my top 5 ever. Great hamburger and onion rings.

Cute cafe with good lunch options. Nothing special but it works for food in a place where there aren't many options. We got the cowboy burger and 8" pepperoni and mushroom pizza. Both met expectations. We also got to-go coffees.

We stopped here for lunch while driving through Marathon. My hot turkey sandwich (more like a turnover) was decent. Swiss cheese inside (instead of, say, provolone) wasn’t my favorite, but that’s a matter of taste. It also had grilled mushrooms. My husband reported that his fried chicken sandwich was good, but it had only a tiny smear (about a teaspoon’s worth) of mayo on it. When he asked for more, the server reported that they’d just run out. (Of mayo?? In fairness, I think the nearest grocery store is in Alpine.) We had arrived at 11:30 am, so the lunch “rush” (if any) had yet to happen. We might have done better with their burgers or Mexican food dishes, which is what I’d try if I go back.Parking: Lots of free parking, but mostly across the street. No dedicated parking lot.Kid-friendliness: It seems family friendly, although there were no kids there during our visit. The main dining room is a bit small, but the larger side dining room would accommodate family groups.

Stopped in for some icecream. Friendly people working here. The icecream was delicious. I had a scoop of Butter Pecan and my husband had a thick vanilla shake. The plates of food going pay us looked very appealing.

The crew at Oasis Cafe were so friendly, the food hit just right, and the atmosphere was so homey, it makes you feel like you showed up at just the right time.
