My wife has to have her coffee in the morning. And I know that's a priority so thank goodness for V6! Neither place we stayed in Marathon had any kind of breakfast service so we went to V6 to get her fix before we struck out for the day. It was a popular hangout spot (which are VERY limited in Marathon) but the service was quick and the people were nice. In addition to various flavors and forms of coffee, they also had a breakfast menu that our friends took advantage of the days we were in Marathon. The food was good and was reasonably priced. V6 is associated with the Gage Hotel and, like other parts of this enterprise, was well run and high quality. Even though there may be another option or two for coffee and breakfast in town, I don't see any draw to anything besides V6.

Very nice breakfast/coffee shop! Was fairly busy, but still received our food in a very reasonable amount of time. I had the Cowboy Burrito (very generous size and tasty), my wife the Traditional Breakfast with gluten free toast (a nice option she wishes more restaurants would offer!). The food arrived hot, and the quantity was good. They also offer a wide variety of dairy free alternatives on their coffee bar, including coconut milk, soy and oat milk. Friendly staff, and a great location. Great find in a small town.

We had breakfast/ coffee at V6 on our way to Big Bend. The staff is really nice and they offer an extensive menu of sweet and savory breakfast options, very good coffee, and smoothies. They can also pack you your breakfast to go.

Not a lot of choices in Marathon for breakfast and reviews for the V6 are generally good so maybe we hit 'em on a "off day". Service was friendly but took several reminders to get everything ordered. Biscuits/gravy served COLD, otherwise food was ok.

Excellent coffee drinks, great pastries, smoothies and salads. I’ll drive from Comstock (2 hours one way) to enjoy this place. Have yet to try menu items — freshly made breakfasts and lunches. Looking forward to it next trip!

Love this spot for a quick, light breakfast and coffee. Cool staff and quickly served. Great seating inside and out. I always get the biscuits with green chili gravy and a sausage patty. I dice the patty so I could imagine it’s a real gravy, but I’m sure this appeals to a more high brow clientele. The gravy is a bit spicy, so you were warned if the “green chili” part didn’t warn you.

V6 Coffee Shop is walking distance from the Gage Hotel. They have coffee, expresso, etc., fresh and delicious! We visited several times for breakfast and lunch and it was fresh and delicious and a large portion as well. No pre-prepared meals, all made to order. They have a lunch menu as well and boxed lunches for Big Bend. The staff is friendly and welcoming and seating outside is offered. We thought for the portion and freshness it was reasonably priced.
Loved the americano! Nice little place to hang out and drink coffee out of the heat!

It is the only coffee shop in town. Hours of operation are very limited. No food such as sandwiches was available to take on to Big Bend, where the restaurant was closed.

Very nice…I had the caprese sandwich and soup, my friend had a beautiful chef salad. Everything was delicious… cost a ton of money >>> because of the gift store next door !

We were so lucky that this place was walking distance from the Gage Hotel. We stopped by for lunch on our first day, and our sandwiches were superb. We went back the next day for coffee and breakfast. Great service, staff and the food is excellent.
