This place was great. My family and I stopped here on our way out of Big Bend National park. The kids loved it!

Passing through the area and felt the need for some caffeine. V6 Coffee Bar didn't disappoint. The coffee is excellent. The service was super nice. I didn't catch his name but very friendly. We didn't order any food but their menu looked delicious.A surprising atmosphere, which I didn't expect for the area. A modern place in a historic community. A perfect blend of old and new.We definitely want to come back to explore Big Bend, stay at the Gage Hotel and visit V6 Coffee Bar again.Thank you for the quick visit and the delicious coffee with a pretty leaf on top.

Walked in and no one even speaks to you. They are too busy gossiping about the manager at the Gage Hotel. Would not return. Highly recommend a new staff.

My wife has to have her coffee in the morning. And I know that's a priority so thank goodness for V6! Neither place we stayed in Marathon had any kind of breakfast service so we went to V6 to get her fix before we struck out for the day. It was a popular hangout spot (which are VERY limited in Marathon) but the service was quick and the people were nice. In addition to various flavors and forms of coffee, they also had a breakfast menu that our friends took advantage of the days we were in Marathon. The food was good and was reasonably priced. V6 is associated with the Gage Hotel and, like other parts of this enterprise, was well run and high quality. Even though there may be another option or two for coffee and breakfast in town, I don't see any draw to anything besides V6.

My husband and I stayed at the Gage Hotel 4 nights and got breakfast here each day. A strawberry smoothie to be exact. Some days an egg sandwich too. Some days a latte too. All great, especially when it's the only place in town for over an hour probably! I was impressed with the smoothie and the latte. Everyone working there was lovely. I especially love the younger gal I talked to who made my smoothies. So sweet!

Very nice breakfast/coffee shop! Was fairly busy, but still received our food in a very reasonable amount of time. I had the Cowboy Burrito (very generous size and tasty), my wife the Traditional Breakfast with gluten free toast (a nice option she wishes more restaurants would offer!). The food arrived hot, and the quantity was good. They also offer a wide variety of dairy free alternatives on their coffee bar, including coconut milk, soy and oat milk. Friendly staff, and a great location. Great find in a small town.

I had one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had! I also got a LondonFog and it was perfect, for my taste. The ambiance is excellent as well.I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

Superb experience. Hit this spot on the way out from Big bend. Had the Philly cheesesteak quesadillas and they did not disappoint (I am Hispanic) didn't realize it came with a pasta salad side so that was a pleasant surprise. Issac behind the coffee bar is an extremely bright individual who did a great job at elevating the entire experience and ambiance shout out to him. Ended it with iced americano and I must say, for being 8 hours away from my regular coffee fix the coffee was darn good. Maybe better. On Jah. ASÉ.

I'm going to take of one star for being a bit pricey, but otherwise it was a perfect quick stop. I had a large Mexican mocha (cinnamon) and an avocado toast. They also have a variety of healthy fruit smoothies, muffins & cookies. The Gage Hotel anchors the town of Marathon, and this seems to be their go to coffee joint. It was crowded at 10 am on a Sunday in February, but the staff diligently fulfilled the orders. There's both inside & outside seating, and the place has a classy, sophisticated Texas vibe. If you're not yet sure how to be a Texan, you can go next door and buy a book to teach you. Friendly, quality food and coffee to prepare you for the day.

We had breakfast/ coffee at V6 on our way to Big Bend. The staff is really nice and they offer an extensive menu of sweet and savory breakfast options, very good coffee, and smoothies. They can also pack you your breakfast to go.

First stop out of Big Bend early morning*Comfortable atmosphere. Welcomed by April and served by Issac at the well-equipped espresso station. Delicious coffee and chocolate chip muffins. There are several breakfast selections. April recommended a stroll through nearby Gage Gardens. Nice town. *last chance for coffee before the hour drive to Big Bend ;-)

Not a lot of choices in Marathon for breakfast and reviews for the V6 are generally good so maybe we hit 'em on a "off day". Service was friendly but took several reminders to get everything ordered. Biscuits/gravy served COLD, otherwise food was ok.
