A friend took us to Simply Pho and it was a delight. We were there between lunch & dinner so it was quiet and we were able to have a nice visit with our meal. The staff was very friendly and very good at their jobs. The food was excellent...they had our favorite, shrimp spring rolls and fried dumplings. Our entrees were beef vermicelli and shrimp vermicelli. Both were excellent, the vegetables were crisp and the dish was well seasoned. We will be returning. Our friend gave us a great tip...to avoid making a left turn across the heavy traffic at the river bridge...we were coming from Burnet...turn left at the light just before the Bluebonnet Cafe and then right to enter from the rear.

The Pho is very good, except the chicken I ordered in it. It was rubbery and hard to chew and not real. The texture was fake. I could tell right away because I eat very clean and organic meat. I pulled it all out and to the side. I had a reaction later on to the MSG. Something you have to watch out for if you eat clean and are sensitive to chemicals. I would go again but skip the chicken in the Pho. Also ask about the MSG.

You know what's truly annoying??? Having to wait for an online order that should have been ready by the pick up time. 30 minutes of my life, gone. Thank you!

Wanted to like this place but told the waiter my wife was needed gluten-free. 20 minutes after we left she was feeling terrible so cross contamination. Service was great, but if the kitchen is not clean or if chef is cutting corners then it’s not the place for gluten-free customers. If a place does not have policies to prevent cross contamination, they should not be allowed to advertise gluten-free on their menus.

Nestor was our server and made the whole experience amazing! He made sure we understood menu offerings and portion sizing. He was also a very kind person. Kept our drinks full as well ❤️❤️❤️Went here with my parents when we realized our old favorite place had closed or moved. We got the general tso chicken and the pork vermicilli, everything was amazing! More than enough food to share family style!

Quality ingredients. Kung Pao beef is delicious. Spicy. Not fond of their chicken. Not sliced thin. Too large chunks and not very tender. The salt and pepper wings are very good as are the crab puffs. The food is consistently made fresh. Eat here often.
