We were recommended to visit this restaurant and just made it before closing on Sunday—they shut their doors at 1:45 PM! This establishment, nearly a century old, continues to thrive for good reason. The menu offers a wide variety of choices, the service is excellent, and the food is superb. The only downside was that, due to it being Sunday, they had run out of some pies. However, the pies they did have were amazing!
We stopped for breakfast Saturday morning when the entire town was a-buzz with the upcoming Solar Eclipse (Everyone had matching T-Shirts). There was a line at the door, but They certainly moved people through quickly. We got our table within 10 minutes, had coffee and water right away. We ordered our food and it was fast! The only thing we found lacking is that tge coffee was a little weak. Maybe some folks like it that way but I like it a little stronger. We were seated close to the beverage stand and I could see it was very litlght colored.
