The Bistro at Flat Creek Estate

I love how family friendly this is and the views are amazing. It’s a hidden gem and feels like you’re in Fredericksburg or somewhere else completely. I really appreciate their kindness towards children because it gives me a great place to go to relax.

The people here are very nice and the estate is beautiful! The food is not very good. The chicken was tough and overcooked. The burger was very boring, cold, and tasteless. Our waiter, Noe, was great!

We had an amazing time! We did the vineyard tour, tasting, and had lunch! Customer service is top notch and the wine is delicious!

Staff were exceptional! Waiter was very attentive and made sure that we were well taken care of. Food was excellent. Great place to dine and sip on wine!

I spent the afternoon there, and did a wine tasting. I know nothing about wine. However the waiter was very knowledgeable. He was awesome and we were lucky to have him. Thanks for a wonderful time and the great ambiance of the location, it was beautiful.

We had a group of 11 people go for a wine tasting and had a really great experience! Everything was set up upon arrival and we had multiple serves helping our table. They were very knowledgeable about the wines they were serving and allowed plenty of time for use to taste and socialize with our group. It was super easy to book and adjust the reservation details too!

Great place to enjoy some really good wines.
The Flat Creek Cheeseburger was especially good paired with the recommended Four Horsemen, a red blend with Montepulciano.
Service was fantastic.
I had the opportunity to talk with Olivier de Certsines, Flat Creek's Winemaker.
It is a bit off the common path, but worth the drive.

Amazing food, atmosphere, service, and people

Understaffed and not Italian food, as represented on the photos. Standard pizza~burger menu. How much more of this can people possibly eat? They have a very bad. fly problem .

The four stars for service are given only because the Bistro was having some problems getting the food out in a timely manner — shortage of help in the kitchen? — but they made it up to us with a free glass of wine! The food was great, the wine perfect, and waitstaff very friendly and helpful. I plan to return.

My mom and I went there last month and we had such a great experience!! Our server (forgot her name, I’m so sorry!) was so kind and she was so knowledgeable about the wines that were made. We were able to sit outside which was even better (we’re from Wisconsin so we loved being on the patio). We loved the experience so much that we came the next day for the live music that was going on. I loved how the bartender was so knowledgeable about the wines as well. 10/10 recommend!!! ❤️

Pizza ordered with wine Order took 45 mins to come out and heated couple of time bad chewy pizza.

Just had a girls weekend and we tried Flat Creek and did a wine tasting there. It was great! Our waitress, Bianca, was super nice and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed it! The food and wine was great as well!

Great Winery. located in a nice quiet spot. They have disc golf, occasional markets and a cool tour. Outside pavilion with a bar is relaxing and scenic. Their food is great from everyday to dinner. We did a Valentines Dinner that would rival the best in Austin. Last but certainly not least the Wine is very good and getting better every year. Enjoy!
