Good place to hang out and watch sports. We watched an entire football game at the bar. Beware they can't turn the sound up on the game.
The bartenders were all friendly. Josh was great. Naya was very helpful too.
The food here is really pretty good. We ate there multiple times and enjoyed everything we got.

Really trying to be upscale NYC in Marfa TX. Pizza was greasy and strange.

Both the drinks and the food were spot on. Great vibe. Recommendation is the fish tacos. 100.

Sat at a table for 15 minutes without even a greeting. Watched other tables being greeted and handled menus. Had to walk to the staff and request menus and water. After 10 minutes water never arrived and staff still didn't come to the table to ask if we wanted a drink. Complained to front desk and was greeted with apathy.
The most frustrating and disappointing experience I've ever had here. Will stick only to the hotel from now in. Worst service experience I've had in my life.

Where do I start…6:30pm Monday. 3 of the 7 tables had customers, no one at bar. Bar/Waitstaff were lethargic and unconscious of their customers. Bartender disappeared when waitress placed our order. Then Waitress disappeared just as my $15 martini was left at the wait station, 8 feet from our table, 20 minutes after being ordered, and sat there longer than I appreciated - so I got up and got my drink. I ordered a Caesar salad that, uh, waitress forgot— as she delivered our dinners. Yet forgot to take it off the bill she delivered in the form of a hand held computer which had nothing but the total. Perhaps she was new. Perhaps she spent too much time behind the bar - yet hadn’t a clue what the TWO draft “Seasonal beers”were when asked?! Now the food. The smash burger rivaled Sonic, the Steak of Steak Frites was shoe leather but juicy cause I ordered it med-rare thank goodness. The FRIES were SPECTACULAR, and sadly the best thing about our terrifically expensive meal! Didn’t get the offer of dessert or coffee or a thank you or a kick in the butt - that would have been too much effort on their part. Wow, so disappointed with Bar Saint George. Based on Google reviews I would have sworn we were at the wrong restaurant.

If you’re in the mood for steak and wine and know nothing about either you’ll be in good company of chef and staff. My medium rare steak frites could have been a delicious tartare had egg and grinding been applied. The chimichurri was delicious. The frites 🤌. The wine, great if you know what you’re doing. Otherwise, may the odds be ever in your favor sweeties.

The bartender Bryan was inattentive. I wish the very nice and excellent waitperson was bartending. She gets five stars! I did not get her name. When you tell someone you need a little more time, I'll never understand why they ignore you and never come back in a few minutes. I will never hail a bartender unless the place is packed 3 deep plus. I was one of two, then 3 at the bar. Attitude. But I still tipped 20% for crap service because I hoped they might share tips. Doubtful because the waitstaff has to tip the bartender, typically. The food looked good, and the pizza I saw looked awesome. But the menu is pricey. $22 for a 1/2 pound burger. The El Paisano has a half pound ground prime rib burger for $16. Cobb salad-$22, and did not sound like a real Cobb salad. But the attitude is the starter and the ender. 4 12 oz draft craft beer $10 each. Good, but not that good. I did not take photos of beer.

Great place! Consistent food and bar hours. Customers can be overwhelming with demands but the staff is excellent. This place is my new goto.

This place is a ripoff scam even for Marfa. They are absolutely incapable of producing an order of breakfast tacos without cheese, staff incompetence. Oh, and one small 12 oz cup of mediocre bitter coffee? $4.50. Just absolutely ridiculous.

We stopped by the bar on our way out of Marfa and were pleasantly surprised by the drinks, food, and atmosphere. We had house margaritas, which were a great value during happy hour (4 - 5 pm). We also split the otalian sausage pizza with white sauce, which was exceptionally good.

Awesome, delicious Huevos Rancheros for breakfast (and they have an espresso machine and I had a pretty good cappuccino) Went back for supper, had a good double smash burger that was a little expensive for my taste ($22) and a tasteful Caesar salad. Saw a guy with real spurs. Never saw the horse but did see what it left behind

Walked in hangry, left in a good mood. Nice work, gang. Service was considerate; bartender could have used a hand which must be especially frustrating for them with 2 hosts and another person hanging around the host stand just steps away. C’mon team, help your buddy out!
Good drinks, creative smashburger. Kitchen pays attention, didn’t dress a salad thinking it was an allergy but just miscommunication. Good on you.
