An absolute delight during our brief trip to Marfa! We stopped here for breakfast/coffee both mornings. The food and drinks were excellent, as was the general atmosphere. The staff were so engaged with customers (seemingly both locals and tourists like us), and even during busy chaos were as polite and prompt as possible. My partner and I found ourselves craving their brisket kolaches and olive oil cake days later, and wishing we had that kind of well curated local coffee shop space in our town.

Best little coffee shop in Marfa. I had the orange zest olive oil cake. It had these perfectly crisp almond slices on top. One of the best cakes I’ve ever had.

Had a Pumpkin Butternut Latte and a Hot Honey Cornbread. Both were delicious. I met the owner - very friendly woman. You will enjoy this coffee shop.

Do not miss Bitter Sugar if you visit Marfa! It is not easy to find - inside a fence and toward the back. But do not give up -- follow the smell of the delicious coffee. The woman behind the counter is beyond kind - and despite a line of people (there for good reason), she exudes a welcoming calm. The coffee is top notch. The standout is the cornbread drizzled with hot honey that seems to sell out way before closing. The kolaches filled with brisket and jalapenos were also delicious.

Stayed next door for a few days and walked over to get coffee here every day. Cornbread is as good as advertised, definitely check it out. Nice people too.

Lindsey and Adam are genuine, kind, and full of stories of Marfa life and recommendations for what to do in town. There's great coffee and they bake lovingly-made cakes (which, if you don't get to them fast enough, the entire town seems to buy out each day)

This little shop has amazing coffee and yummy snacks. I had an amazing latte and a homemade raspberry kolache. The kolache was so good I ate it before I remembered to take a picture. Don't miss this place!

What a GREAT find in Marfa. This coffee shop gives you the feel of being at home having coffee and pastry or whatever they happen to make for the day. Very relaxed, friendly, GREAT Customer Service. You can have coffee and quiche while playing cards or any number of games that are there. Absolute loved this place and highly recommend you stop in while in Marfa or just passing through.Vegetarian options: The Cheese and Spinach Quiche was AMAZING.
