Do not miss Bitter Sugar if you visit Marfa! It is not easy to find - inside a fence and toward the back. But do not give up -- follow the smell of the delicious coffee. The woman behind the counter is beyond kind - and despite a line of people (there for good reason), she exudes a welcoming calm. The coffee is top notch. The standout is the cornbread drizzled with hot honey that seems to sell out way before closing. The kolaches filled with brisket and jalapenos were also delicious.
Lindsey and Adam are genuine, kind, and full of stories of Marfa life and recommendations for what to do in town. There's great coffee and they bake lovingly-made cakes (which, if you don't get to them fast enough, the entire town seems to buy out each day)

An absolute delight during our brief trip to Marfa! We stopped here for breakfast/coffee both mornings. The food and drinks were excellent, as was the general atmosphere. The staff were so engaged with customers (seemingly both locals and tourists like us), and even during busy chaos were as polite and prompt as possible.
