There were so many negative issues when we went a few weeks ago. Just a miserable experience. The host treated us like we had the plague. There were 3 of us and we were seated at a 2-top when the place was barely half full. We had to find a third chair, flatware and a napkin on our own. I ordered the burger medium rare. It came out so well done that if the meat had been cooked a second longer, you could've carved marble with it. Also the fries had clearly been left under a heat lamp for a very long time. Our waitress was sweet but took 25 minutes to get our drinks and our food was served nearly an hour after we sat down - again it wasn't that busy and they had plenty of staff. We don't make it to Marfa too often but we'll never go to this place again.

Food was wonderful. Came and ate a Pistachio steak, and a burger. Both were not only presented beautifully on the plate, but also had amazing flavor! Will definitely come back. I should have given my compliments to the chef personally, the food was that amazing. The waitress we had could have been more attentive, but the food alone will bring us back, hopefully they'll get better help up front.

Food was okay - not anything to ride home about. However, the margarita was great! I also loved the ambiance of the restaurant being part of an old restored hotel. Also, the courtyard is gorgeous to have a drink at and hang out if you are looking for a good cocktail hour spot!

Expensive and bad, really bad. Only one of four could even eat the food. It ranged from unflavorful to undercooked chicken, to burnt. Wait staff was clueless, either on drugs, dim or didn't want to be there. Avoid!

3 of our party of seven ordered Sweet Tea. When the tea arrived it was unsweetened. After asking, the waitress we were informed sweet tea was unavailable but she would bring us some sugar. This was both surprising and disappointing. At the same time we ordered the non existing sweet tea we ordered an appetizer. Low and behold the maincourse arrived before the appetizer. Once again surprising and disappointing. In fairness I will leave another critique on the food as this is only for the service.

The silverware had food stuck to it. It was disgusting. The Asadero Chilli Rellenos was very cold and greasy. The rice was bland. The french fries were greasy and had an odd taste. The drinks came after we had just about finished our meals, well not finished but stopped eating…I asked for a lemon wedge and it never came. I asked for a to go cup for the over priced beverage and never got one. When I got to check on it our sever, Sujei, was standing at the entrance of the kitchen talking to two other servers so I went and got the to go cup myself. This experience and quality of the food was disappointing. I love Marfa but will never spend another dine at Jett’s Grill. We left there feeling sick. We never saw any management walking around checking on customers either. Save your money and go someplace else!

Dirty silver, server was really slow. The food was cold and oily. Got our drinks after our meals and my husband asked for a lemon and never received it. The food was also very expensive for what we got.

The service was a little behind due to being short handed, but we didn't have to wait exorbitantly too long to be seated or served our food. Their burger was the largest burger I had ever been served. I'm usually let down at restaurants that serve burgers, but this one was a charbroiled beauty, served with all the fixings on the side like it should be. I highly recommend trying it out. ?

Our visit to West Texas couldn't have been much better with the exception of the high wind for 2 days straight . Our saving grace was all the wonderful food and drink we experienced, and Jett's Grill led the way . Located in the Hotel Paisano, what a beautiful old setting . Lots of restoration done and doing to an elegant, historical

My husband and I have been fans of Jett's Grill and The Hotel Paisano since the early 2000s and we love to stop in occasionally when visiting our daughter in Alpine. We sampled so many dishes here and my favorite was the fried artichoke hearts! So good. We also ate pistachio fried steak with asparagus and mashed potatoes, crab cakes, jalapeno poppers, and the tortilla crusted chicken.

Lovely atmosphere (& service) with must try fare such as the massive Pistacio Fried Steak smothered in jalepeno gravy! Spending time in the beautiful hotel courtyard outside the restaurant was so refreshing as well. Variable Mexican dish offered each day such as the tenderloin tacos which my husband loved. Elegantly dark interior . . . perfect for a romantic dinner (or just come as you are) with table service or full service at the bar.

If I could give this place a million stars I would!! The service was absolutely amazing. Doug is an example of what all general managers should be like!! He really made our trip to Marfa a memorable one! I had the order of crab cakes and they were delicious!!

The new manager, Doug, made the entire experience unforgettable. He was so thoughtful and gave the best customer service. He went out of his way to not only greet my friend group, but every other set of dinners. He was very hands on, helping severs bring out food and bus tables. The food came out quickly and was delicious. I got the crab cakes and the sauce that comes with it is the perfect pairing. If you are visiting Marfa, stopping at Jett’s grill is an absolute must!

Five stars EASY. Their new general manager Doug was so attentive and caring, and made mine & my friends’ first-ever misfit to Marca so special. We all agreed as soon as we left that we would all write reviews to support the business. We truly cannot speak highly enough.
