La Muerta Taco Shack is a must when passing through or staying in Marfa. The tacos are genuine and flavorful, a balanced meal with harmonious and savory flavors and spice. The street corn is great too. The Bruja taco and the aloha taco are favorites. The chicken mole and the vegetarian-friendly prickly pear option are also tasty. Each taco has its own beautiful personalized tortilla with unbelievably complex flavor combinations. The food is great, with awesome jams and great service from friendly and welcoming staff. The music playlist is great, and the food is even better. It is the most fun stop on a big bend trip, and it is better than the most expensive restaurant in town. The tacos take several minutes to make, with two staff members behind the counter delicately hand-making each taco, but this is not a problem with how flavorful each menu item is.
