April 10, 2024 -We spent a week in west & south Texas & were impressed with the graciousness & hospitality of everyone until we entered Para Llevar. The clerk at the register was sullen & dower (bad day?). I gave him my order & credit card (he expected a tip in advance). Inside or outside? Inside. He gave me an electronic pad (#40) & told me to pick a table. After 30 minutes, i waved down an equally sullen wait-person & asked politely about our order. He mumbled something about "when it's ready." Okay. 30 minutes later, I went to the counter to ask for a refund. The same "waiter" said he buzzed me twice (my table was 15 feet away) 30 minutes ago (!). I asked him to demonstrate: no response. No apology. No reaction. He showed me three small boxes (presumably our order). I repeated my request for a refund. Within 30 seconds, he refunded my money. The quickest service seen all day! They must be really practiced at refunds! When we were leaving, a guy who was observing remarked, "Ellos son pendejos!"In all my days, I have never seen such a rude, entitled, incompetent restaurant crew. We have no idea what the food is like, of course.

Disappointed in this restaurant experience. As we walked in we noticed it wasn't very clean. We ordered pizza and garlic bread, both were pretty badly burnt. We were the only people in the restaurant the entire time and it still took a while to get our food.

Had a chicken salad sandwich...REALLY GOOD! The bread was toasted and had great flavor which added to the all-around flavor of the sandwich. Pizza is nothing special and slightly overpriced. And the adobe look of the place was nice too.

Nice spot for lunch. Very busy on the day we were there which created a long wait time for th desired pizza. We opted for Greek salads and grilled cheese sandwiches, both of which were substantial and quite good. We saw a number of people who really seemed to be enjoying the pizza, so perhaps worth the wait if you have time. We didn't but were happy with our choices.

Ordered a Chicken Pesto Pizza. The dough was excellent, however the amount of mozzarella drowned out all of the other toppings. Drink cooler has a good selection. Despite the name, they do have plenty of space to dine in.

Awesome margarita pizza and prickly pear margaritas.
Great pizza. Great salad. Great patio. Plus margs. And open 7 days a week, which is huge in Marfa. Dog friendly. Highly recommend. We are frequent patrons.

Cheese pizza from an actual pizza oven, perfect for two people. Less than $15. Charming store and friendly people. Outdoor dining in back. Very laidback and perfect if you are dining with your pup.

Food was ok, pizza wasn't as hot as Papa John's but good. We had the Margarita pizza. Greek salad was good but a little to much pickle zest..
By far the best place in Marfa!!!!
