Holy moly! This place is too good. The red sauce is extraordinary, and the pico is chunky and cilantro generous (oh, joy), and the corn tortillas are thicc!!! I’ve been on a 2X2 bean & cheese and potato & egg kick for a hot minute and I tried one other shop in town - they’re good, but El Vaquero is better. My only problem is that they close at 1:30pm. Quality demands punctuality, I suppose. Don’t expect pictures - I’m too busy eating when I get this hungry!
Was out there recently visiting a friend to say country setting is an understatement but the people at the restaurant were very very nice very pleasant and the food was pretty okay I didn't care too much for the Barbacoa call but the quesadillas and the El pastor was good and their tea is pretty awesome
