I walked in at 5pm to place an order, the lady working was a very nice person, but it appeared the day crew did not do their job, so she could only offer wheat bread for sandwiches.

We were in the way to Houston and stopped here for lunch. The kids working were nice and hardworking but the place was disgusting. We ordered and I went to make a drink - no tea and the ice drain was slimy and filthy. I look around , every table was dirty , the floors were dirty. And this was not lunch time dish dirt. This was leftover probably from closers not cleaning properly the day before. Dead bugs in the widow sill, a solo cup of pop above the pop machine that belongs to who? Kids ringing in registers with gloves and going straight to the food. Door says "locally owned and operated". I can't tell. That owner needs to get in there and get this place up to code. Disgusting. I couldn't finish my food as I looked around and saw more and more violations.

Driving through town, on a time crunch with hungry kids. Ordered online using the app at 6:30. Arrived at 6:50. Our order wasn't even started! Waited in line just to check, and the sandwich artist said, oh we've been busy. So just before 7PM she starts the sandwich order, which admittedly was large. Done at 7:14. Got in our car, realized we were short a sandwich! Had to go back and wait even longer. Absolute waste of time! I even added a tip to the order!

The lady that made our order was extremely rude. And when I asked her for just a little more ranch she poured a whole bunch on there and gave me a nasty look. And that was just one of the many rude things she did. She had pink hair and strawberry earrings. She most definitely should not be working in customer service. She was disrespectful to our whole family. We will not be coming back.

The last three times we have gone to Marlin's Subway they have been deficient in some ingredient. The first time an oven wasn't working, so all they had was white bread and couldn't toast it. The next time they had no banana peppers. And today they were out of lettuce.I don't think it is the staff's fault, but a corporate problem. If other Subways are experiencing the same problems, bring on Firehouse Subs!
