A 5 star place, but a little pricey. The food is excellent. I don't think I've ever had a bad meal here. Can take a minute to order and get food, depending on how crowded it is, but worth it.
Parking: There are about two dozen spots only trouble is rush times during festivals but there are alternate lots downtown less than five minutes walks from the restaurant. Also retail shops next door have another 18 spots or so and usually are closed at Cajun Tex's dinner hours.Kid-friendliness: Just ask paper menu will usually be on left side of ordering counter. Burgers and more for kids.

First time eating here and it will not be the last!!! Best Cajun food I’ve had in years! The oyster Poboy was delicious and they have got the best gumbo I have ever eaten! Also the ladies at the cash register were very friendly, I love this place!
