It takes these jokers 40 minutes to make a burger and they tried saying they were busy with four people inside who were already eating by the time I got there ?

Spent 30 minutes waiting for an easy order and got raw bacon on my burger somehow. Staff was friendly, but slow and I ended up paying for something I didn’t eat.

Worst DQ in the state. Management must truly dislike their customers.Keep driving, not worth your time.

Do not expect free refills on your drinks, but other than that, the food is good, the best DQ in the Hill

If you can avoid working here. I highly recommend it. The owners do not appreciate their workers and because Mason is a small town they have liturally said to us ... Well where else are you gonna go?... Anywhere but here that's where.

Always stop her for Blizzards when passing through. They normally do a great job mixing ice cream and toppings.Parking: We drive an RV with tow, lots of room!Kid-friendliness: They have great kids' food and ice cream.

We stopped in this location for dinner as we were traveling through town. We got our food and the meat on our burger was hard and old. I asked if they cooked them fresh and they said yes but I saw them grab a patty out of a metal bowl, throw it on the grill for 2 seconds then throw it on a bun. I also asked for gravy and it was so old it looked like mashed potatoes. I’m sure this establishment is locally owned and run so I would suggest making fresh food during lunch and dinner times. Needless to say, we won’t be back.

Food is always fresh and good. My only complaint is why charge a full price on fountain drinks if you’re not allowed to get refills. We ended up paying 14 bucks for three drinks. Ridiculous.

Great stop in mason tx just passing through but staff is friendly and great small town
My Dad and I always eat here on the way back when we work in Menard. There used to be 3 older ladies that worked the grill and the food was amazing. Every time we’ve been the food has been legitimately the best fast food anyone has ever made. We went today and it took 30 minutes to get our order. The fries were overdone and burnt tasting. The meat on my burger was very dry and my dad remarked that the bun on his burger was older than him. His top bun was very stale. They got rid of the fountain and now you have to pay for refills. Who does that? There must be new ownership or management because this was very disappointing. We will not be eating here anymore.

Blizzard was surprisingly not good (don't know how, just was watery). The ice/water used for the drink smelled bad. No free refills... avoid this place if you can. There is many better DQs around.

It was over 102 outside, and I just wanted something cold to drink. I wanted a mango slushy, which they were out of mango, so I got the blue raspberry slushy instead. The ice-cold drink hit the spot. I also picked up a butterfinger blizzard. I had a 30-minute drive home, so at least I would be cool and hydrated along the way.
