Church's Texas Chicken

Would love to give this five stars but every time we go, they’re always out out of something. You can also barely hear them on the intercom!
Would love to be able to have a full menu provided at every visit, but unfortunately, that has never been the case

I ordered the BOGO wings from the app. Counter people were not aware of the app offer. While waiting I was attacked by no see-um nats inside the store. Took the order home and found a half inch of oil/grease in one of the boxes. Nasty!

I ordered the mixed 2 piece combo. I recieved 2 dark meat pieces. I asked for Mac n cheese, I was told they didnt have any 2 hours before closing. The biscuit was hard, and the chicken was greasy and rubbery. I would suggest finding somewhere else to order from.

Nope. While the jalapeno poppers were great the skimpy Chicken sandwiches were trash. Literally pressed chicken patties.

Maybe I ordered the wrong things but I was not impressed. Also if you don't have cheese you don't deserve more than one star. So consider yourselves lucky.

I don't get it. Go somewhere else.

I will consider that I came here at around 7:40 and after we ordered it took like 8 minutes but it came out fresh and I got the spicy glaze along with adding the spicy seasoning which hits different! The picture was leftovers unfortunately I forgot to take a picture my of my 4 piece combo. Also there was only 3 people working at the time.

We drove through the drive through and ordered a 3 piece chicken strip meal. The chicken strips were very thin, the gravy was so watered down it was very runny and had no flavor. I will go to Dairy Queen next time.

Those 2 guys working the counter are awesome. Everything was delicious and outstanding service.

This seems quite expensive.
Later, I checked the menu online, and this is not even listed.
I'm not anti-Churches, but I'd just get the chicken and forget the fish.
Also, I was the only car in the drive-thru, but this took a really long time.

The food is always good, but…
If you order online, add at least 10 minutes to the order ready time, it won’t be ready when it says, and always, always, ALWAYS check your order before you leave, because it’s very likely that your order won’t be right. They did offer to correct today’s mistake, but I was not willing to drive the 20 minutes back to town.

Went yesterday to try the chicken fried steak. In the app it states the individual steaks are sold at $1.50. For some reason it would not let me place the order. So I asked the manager to just ring me up for them. She stated the prices in the app are different from the ones in the restaurant. Each steak rung up $3.49. I said fine, cook me 6 of them. It was over 20 bucks. That's fine. But the country gravy tasted horrible. Worse gravy I ever tasted in my life. I had to throw all 6 cups out. Maybe the brown gravy tastes better. I also wanted a half and half order of fried pies. 2 apple and 2 pumpkin. I was told I could not do that. *Chicken express let's you do that. You can get 2 apple and 2 cherry 🍒 pies in the family pie pack, and it's 2 dollars cheaper. (*Just didn't feel like driving to Portland.) Now I know the fried chicken is good here. But that chicken fried steak and country gravy has to go. How about some livers and gizzards instead. I'm willing to drop some serious cash here, but you gotta work with me. Maybe I'll come back one day, in the distant future.

Good chicken

Upon arrival was asked if I wanted to try yalls special 2 piece for 7.99 I see why it's 7.99 now food wasn't even fresh it was all cold. I waited for 15 minutes in line while the servers were just looking at me with the box they had open with my chicken in there and still served it cold. Will not be returning to this place. This place has gone down I'll be sure to go to good n crisp where I know its served hot.
