First time ordering at this restaurant and I've been in Mathis for years. Service was friendly and the chicken was good. Sides on the other hand. Not. The new jalapeno cheddar biscuit was greasy and tough to chew. I opted for the corn on the cob. I have never had a tasteless piece of corn but it didn't even taste like corn. No taste at all.
The Mathis store needs improvement.They served us burnt fried okra and the biscuit wasn't cooked all the way. We had to wait to pill up to the drive thru window because the lady was visiting with her friend in the truck in front of us.
