Trying Texas bbq straight from Texas . Over all rating is give a 3.5 starts out of 5. And broken down I'd say Corn is a easy 5 starsMac an cheese is a 4Brisket has great flavor on the bark but not deep in the meat . I'd say a 3 maybe 3.5Pork ribs I'd say 2.5. Wasn't a fan of the rub flavor but that's just my profile The sausage was a good 3.5 it was juicy had a lot of flavor and was nice . The sauce on the side I gave a 1. It had a very unique taste but I'm not sure which type of bbq sauce it was .

Amazing BBQ and desserts! I had the sliced brisket and spare ribs and everything was delicious, tender and full of flavor. For dessert we had the cheesecake mousse and banana pudding, both were excellent.

Food went down hill here over the last 3 months!! Def not a top BBQ place any longer.. Quality and quantity have gone down hill! My 5 year old wouldnt even eat the sides. Way to salty! Not worth the $ they charge.

This place is off the hook! In the past 3 days, I've had the ribs, sausage (spicy) and brisket (sliced, w/bark), as well as sides of loaded mashed taters (a tad salty, IMO), beans (2 different renditions -- depends on who's making them), and the mac/cheese of the day (supplemented w/meat -- again, changes from day to day). Literally, some of the BEST bbq in Ellis county and WELL worth the 10- minute detour off I-35 (in the town of Maypearl). Friendly servers, clean restrooms, the whole 9 yards. But y'all . . . the food!!

Man, these guys are doing it right. Love supporting such a nice, independent businessman especially in a small town. Get off of I 35 and come over here!!!Brisket was absolutely on point. If you love a good bark, this is your place. Never even thought about putting sauce on it. The Birria taco is one of the most unique and wonderful things I've ever had on my barbecue swings in Texas. Stuffed full of brisket, cheese and other goodies. folded over and pan cooked like a quesadilla. It's a 10 out of 10. Side of street corn was absolutely solid. Nice folks and a new clean cool environment right on Main Street in Maypearl.

Best barbeque you will find. Brisket smoked perfectly, ribs fall of the bone good. Sausage perfectly spicy. Mac n cheese so tasty your mouth will water. And banana pudding so delicious you will cry for more. You want barbeque go to Maypearl and have this bbq. You won't regret it They are phenomenal!

Been here a number of times and it is always great.The smash burger is fantastic when available. The Tuesday taco special is a great deal.The stuffed jalapenos are always on my list if they are available.Close to Waxahachie. Craft BBQ with a Tex Mex flair.

First off I consider myself a low key BBQ taste expert. Cruz BBQ is not just excellent BBQ but it’s reasonably priced. I think a lot of BBQ places can take pointers from Cruz on how to get reasonably priced bbq to their customers. Would love to see a beef rib once a week or month.Great job y’all!
