Stopped by while in the area for some cocktails and some bites. Sat at the bar so service was pretty quick. Got a simple old fashioned and a missionary and both were pretty good! For bites got the guacamole flight, also very solid! Ive been here plenty of times and all the food is always top notch and it is a great atmosphere, especially if you are on a date night or brunch.

This place is literally a diamond in the RGV. I’ve been coming here for years and it is consistently amazing every time. The service, food, drinks and prices are exceptional. Also, don’t miss out on their brunch. Their pancakes are perfect.

I attended a dinner presentation here and was shocked by how rude and dismissive the servers were. After the speaker finished, food still hadn’t been served. When I politely asked for my meal to be boxed to go, the server sighed as if I were an inconvenience.
I was then told my dessert (also requested to go) was still being prepared, yet desserts were being served to other guests. The side glances and attitude were unnecessary and unprofessional.
First and last time attending a dinner presentation here. I would strongly discourage medical reps from hosting events at this venue.

Tim was out waiter he was phenomenal very attentive. Food was easily 5 star we ate multiple Dishes and shared them at the table happy hour wine and 2 desserts each item was phenomenal

One of my absolute favorite restaurants in McAllen. They have an amazing brunch selection and their burgers are truly the best! The staff is always friendly and super helpful as well. This is one of my lunch go-tos. Try their greek salad with salmon. You won't regret it!

Our server Taylor, was fabulous. She was very attentive, knew the menu, she was suggestive on things that we asked for. Came by our table many a time! This was our first time at Bogeda, great experience! Food: the New York steak with the herb butter and crispy fries were excellent! I was able to cut the meat with a butter knife. Afterwards, we sat outside, finished our wine…it was an experience. I think y’all will enjoy it.

Patrons, please look at your receipt carefully before you pay. We paid and did not look at it closely until we got home. They will overcharge ! They will also charge a 3.50% for using a Debit Card or Credit Card. Also, DO NOT SUBSTITUTE or you will be charged. I only wanted the chicken from their grilled chicken sandwich, did not want the fries, did not want the buns. However, I wanted mashed potatoes. Charged me an extra $4.00 because I substituted. Also charged $25.00 for each cocktail. Never said that it would cost that much for a cocktail that should have been $10.00 max each. We ordered 2 ($50.00) We did frequent this place for lunch and dinner and we would take clients here for lunch, but this time we will make sure we tell all of our friends about this issue and not to support this place. We will not be coming back here anymore. I am so disappointed. Called the manager and he said that that it the price. Did not explain, did not apologize.
