“Their food and service is top tier. Only reason it’s a 4 star and not a 5 star is that my favorite item was removed. Their beyond burger was the best and I was glad to finally have a nice place to eat out that offered a great option for me. I know they replaced it with a veggie burger but it’s not even close to being what the beyond burger was. I’ve tried some of the other vegan options but nothing could compare. Another thing is that at peak time between all the people and the loud music it can be very hard to hear both the people you’re with and the server. However that being said food was always fantastic and service was amazing.Vegetarian options: They have a lot to offer for vegetarians and have clearly labeled menus for restrictions. Same for vegans we are capable of having a good meal here. I will say however their normal buns are not vegan so you have to sub out for their gluten free one which is not the greatest so I’d recommend bringing a bun if you want a better bun option.Dietary restrictions: They have a very detailed area warning of common allergens and have separate menus for vegans/vegetarians/gluten free people.”

“The husband and I had a lunch date here. Upon entering we really loved the vibes. We couldn’t wait to see what was on the menu. We were greeted by our lovely and attentive waitress Heby. She recommended some refreshing drinks and let me tell you the bartender definitely knows what he’s doing behind the bar. I ordered thePistachio Crusted Salmon Risotto and husband ordered the Chicharron De Ribeye It was a great portion and extremely delicious! The restaurant is clean, the staff is attentive and polite, and the choice of sandwiches and burgers on the menu is extensive. During our two visits so far, my wife and I have tried four different sandwiches, and all have been mouthwatering. We wish that we could recommend one of them, but they're all fantastic. The beef dip deluxe and the Philly beef are both scrumptious and made with mouth-watering, thinly sliced, tender beef.If you LOVE the Beatles, you'll love NY Deli.”

However, after meeting my brother at the location I decided on having the sirloin tips a favorite of mine that I have not gotten in a while. We placed the order and my brothers fish and shrimp was yummy! Mine though, I was disappointed. The portion was smaller than what I have been served in the past, but I didnt mind at all what I did not like was the flavor. It had a reheated taste to it and it some were well done or med well when I had asked for medium. The manager did allow for me to swap out my dish for something else. I truly appreciate the discretion and the quick turn out time. I am one very happy customer, will definitely return to this location.”

“If you are looking for quality boba, with amazing service and a cool atmosphere look no further, you gotta come to Ulike Tea here in McAllen. The young ladies who are always working are always killing it with top notch service! They are always so chill, willing to help, and so patient, even when it gets so busy, which it always gets when I come. I don’t blame them. I think my fav part of the experience is how patient and willing to help each guest no matter how big the group is or how indecisive since their menu is so big from fruit teas, to milk teas, to smoothies and a few food options! Gotta come in and try their Ube Matcha Latte, no sugar with Coffee Jellies…yum!!! Definitely recommend and the best boba spot in town!”

The coleslaw and macaroni sides were very good. The El Pastor Wrap is very good. And there’s lots of it. The only reasons I didn’t give five stars are:The grill was too hot and burned stripes on the chicken. Once I got that scraped off, minor effort, the chicken wrap was great.The napkins are starched too stiff. It’s like wiping your face with cardboard. I would suggest skipping the starch.All in all, it was good. I’ll be back.Parking: Usually plenty of parking. The slices of the avocado were so thin, I almost thought I received the wrong order. Same with the sliced tomatoes, they were from a small tomato, and I too had to hunt for them. The chicken was a bit bland, but there was a lot of it, and the ham was good. My feeling is the heavy portion of chicken was meant to impress, but all it did was highlight how small the vegetable portions were.I almost didn't write this review because I like writing when I have positive experiences. Unfortunately, skimping on the vegetables left enough an impression on my experience that I couldn't finish my sandwich. Hopefully it was just my one time experience. But if not, and you have the same thoughts with your food, then my review wouldn't be in vain.”

Not the end of the world and if you're wondering, I didn't go back and complain. I know the staff has a lot on their plate during the lunch hour. As posted in the pic, the receipt says toasted; my sandwich was not toasted. I won't mention the parking situation besides saying it's limited. Extremely limited. I do recommend you visit this establishment though as the food is always fresh and the staff is very polite & helpful.”

Luckily, our server, Nathan, gave excellent recommendations for apps, meals, and even dessert! “This is the only Indian food we eat in the RGV! The food is delicious and you get a huge "bang for your buck" with the buffet. The buffet has a great variety of different rices and chicken dishes as well as other vegetable sides. The buffet also includes spinach with paneer, somosas or sweet dessert-type options and includes a basket of Naan brought to your table. It's never a disappointment and everyone who works there is friendly. It's a relaxing and home-like environment to eat with family and friends and enjoy the food and music.Vegetarian options: There are several vegetarian dishes that are made up of just vegetables in a sauce. There are also several rice dishes with no meat as well as Naan that can be eaten/dipped in the sauces or eaten with the vegetables to make the meal more filling.Parking: There are several spots right in front of the restaurant but there is also a huge parking lot that can be used by multiple businesses around the location.”

The venue itself has an elegant vibe to it, reminiscent of an old-fashioned, swanky Spanish homestead -- a place one does not go to parade their disdain for proper etiquette by wearing torn jeans or failing to remove their hat indoors. Suffice it to say, we had equally high expectations of the food and service.They did not disappoint.We ordered the mixed botana for two, and it was easily one of the best we have had in the RGV. The presentation was excellent, the fajita was tender and juicy, and the trimmings were packed with flavor. Our side dish of choriqueso was tasty as well, and the complimentary cheesecake (we were celebrating our 34th wedding anniversary) was the best we had in years. The whole table was a feast for the eyes, to say nothing of the palate, and the portions were such that we had plenty of leftovers at the end. Our waiter, I should note, was very attentive from the moment we arrived until the moment we left, offering us something like the royal treatment - as my wife put it - and in so doing earned our manifest appreciation (read generous tip.) Granted, it was not the busiest time of day, but for that reason alone the best time for dining there.All in all, we enjoyed the restaurant. We found it to be a perfect choice for the occasion, and I can see it becoming one of our favorite haunts. Fresh taste and good quality.Every weekday there is a good food special and happy hour from 3-6!We happened to stop in on a Tuesday (Taco Tuesday). They had 4/5/6 dollar taco protein options. We had the two 4 dollar protein options. Each order comes with 3 tacos. The first was carnitas which had both a red and green sauce, pickled onions and cilantro. It all came together very nicely. The second order we put in was for the Gochuchang tacos- pork with a sweet and spicy Asian sauce and coleslaw topping, this was my favorite of the two.As for drinks, I was able to try the two stouts on tap, Bunny Bunches of Oats, oatmeal coffee Stout and Pardon my French, English Stout. Both were very smooth. The Pardon my French was my favorite, it was a sweeter pick of the two. Then we went on to try the Big zam - which had Sweet notes, kinda malty flavour, not overbearing, surprised me because it's the strongest beer on the menu but you wouldnt know straight off.Watermelon- very light, crisp, hit first with the sparkling/carbonated feel, left with heavy wheat notesPalm City blonde - light lager, reminds me of a Czech craft brew.Guava - not overly sour, strong fruit notes, light and refreshing. The problem was, there were too many things I wanted to try! I settled on the fried oysters with a side of cajun fries. The oysters had a delicious seasoning and were well cooked. My only complaint was I felt they had too much breading to appreciate the oyster inside. Again, the breading was delicious - just too much. You get about 10 oysters.The fries were well seasoned as well, and quite plentiful. For dessert I had the caramel banana pie. It looked delicious, but for me, it was just too over the top. For the expense, I certainly would not order again. Speaking of "expense", this place is more in the "medium" price range and not something I would go to on a regular basis for lunch. It was good, and definitely maybe more of a dinner spot. Nice change of pace kind of place!”

“I had not had Charley's in over 20 yrs! So when I saw it I was excited...and it did not disappoint. The Philly cheese steak sandwich was just as good as I remember it. Meat was fresh lettuce and tomatoes crisp. Cheese & bacon fries were the bomb too.”
“I love ceviche and had never tried the ceviche pacifico. I should have just ordered the ceviche de pescado since the pacifico was just cucumber and mango. There was hardly any fish and shrimp, if any at all.”

“Good price for a family pack, includes 4 orders of 6 tacos, 4 beans, 4 baked potato and 4 fountain drinks. I also ordered some Panchos because I thought we were not going to have enough food.The beans were not all that good but well. Tacos and salsas were very good. Baked potato tasty. Panchos good. As I was reading other comments with wait time, our food was served in a timely matter. Good customer service, clean facility. I think management has been reading reviews and have been improving.”

“Suuuuuch yummy fried chicken we got the favorites which were the garlic and sweet and spicy and I can’t even explain how good they were all I could say was they were so fresh and crispy and the flavor was the BEST. Another thing I should mention is that a lot of friend chicken places around get me sick and this is the only chicken that didn’t make me feel any type of way. Such a great price as well 10/10 overall. They were still hot when we got home and it’s also located in a cute plaza and they made the place look cute.”

“I went there for my birthday yesterday the food was great and the employees were great too but when I went to the restroom I saw an employee naked putting some kind of needle and blood when I Left He laughed in a creepy way and as soon as I was heading out of the bathroom a kid and his dad were going to enter but thankfully he changed before they can enter. Just hope he gets fired.”

“This is the first time I went to Mambo and the food didn't disappoint. I had the number 7 grilled octopus in mambo sauce with shrimp fried rice and the empanada appetizer. Our server Adri gave us excellent service. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us recommendations like the grilled octopus with mambo sauce. She even helped us take a family photo and went above and beyond. I would definitely come back here. I really recommend the food I mentioned.”

The barista was helpful and kind with any questions I had about certain coffee products. I ended up deciding to get two blended Granitas (frozen espresso) for a co-worker and I. It was delicious! It was also topped with a cute little coffee bean.I felt like I had enough energy to last me a lifetime. ? I was on a mission completing every task possible at work after drinking this ?. So if ya need a good "pick me upper" this drink will do the damn job!!If you have a caffeine sensitivity I highly recommend you adjust the drink to your liking. I believe this drink has two & a half shots of espresso.I'm eager to try other products on their menu. They're super close to my place of work so I think I definitely found my new favorite coffee shop when I'm in town. ❤️The staff was smiling and were such a delight.
