Applebee's Grill + Bar offers a pleasant dining experience with friendly and attentive servers. The food is consistently good, with fair prices, and some servers even provide excellent recommendations. Guests have enjoyed meals like the riblets and tenders, though some found the riblets gummy and chewy, not falling off the bone as expected. The tenders were slightly better, with moist chicken but too much breading that slid off. The dips were a highlight, and the drinks served by the bartender sometimes caused issues, with some guests feeling the bartender's attitude was rude and unprofessional, especially when she interrupted meals to complain about drinks that were correctly ordered. The atmosphere can be affected by such incidents, but overall, most visitors find it welcoming. The staff, including servers like James, are often praised for their friendliness and ability to make guests feel comfortable. While some guests experienced slow service or minor issues in the dining room and bathrooms, the overall atmosphere remains inviting. Visitors leave satisfied with their meals and are likely to return, especially for the attentive service of staff like James.
