“I have been eating at this place since the 80's. I am from Mexico City but every time I have visited McAllen Downtown I always have a break at this place, even at 90°+ degrees. The Burger and fried chicken are unique. It is not a fancy place, but it has a fair price and great food, definitely a must when you visit McAllen.“

“First time in McAllen and first time at this burger place. I was welcomed in by Candy which delivered first class customer service. I had the Holy Guacamolie burger with the cheese loaded fries. The food does not disappoint and the portions are big. The service was fast. They somehow thought they took too long and Leo the cook came out to personally apologize. You definitely don’t see this type of service anymore and I applaud the team and establishment. I will definitely be back and recommend this place.“

“I order the torta combo with fries and soda. The meal was reasonably priced and of satisfactory quality. However, if you dine outdoors, be aware that there will be a significant number of flies circling your food. Regrettably, they only accept cash payments, not credit cards. 🥲“

“No exaggeration. This eatery located inside what seems like an ordinary, unassuming pharmacy; however, once inside you are greeted by friendly staff, a very good selection of OTC and prescription items and even a complete full service diner that has MUCH to offer in terms of variety from enchiladas, to taquitos, to full breakfast options and shakes etc.. and even at reasonable prices & you've got yourself a WINNER! Forgot to take pictures but you definitely got to try this hidden gem of a place out. In my opinion, they give Denny's a run for their money. And this is a honest, unsolicited review, I'm not an AI chatbot. :)“
