“I decided to try this location, I'm from Odessa, and I have bought burgers quite messy squished and sloppy, looks like my burgers are just thrown together, no care when they are placed in the bag.... but I just LOVED THE ULTIMATE BURGER at this place..... the presentation of my burger was excellent, and It was placed in a box....I opened up my box, considering I dropped it once ☹️..but my burger was nice and snug in its paper wrapping. Nothing out of place, just looking scrumptious...whomever made this burger, you did very well!!! I'll be coming back to this location.“

“First time in McAllen and first time at this burger place. I was welcomed in by Candy which delivered first class customer service. I had the Holy Guacamolie burger with the cheese loaded fries. The food does not disappoint and the portions are big. The service was fast. They somehow thought they took too long and Leo the cook came out to personally apologize. You definitely don’t see this type of service anymore and I applaud the team and establishment. I will definitely be back and recommend this place.“

“I have been eating at this place since the 80's. I am from Mexico City but every time I have visited McAllen Downtown I always have a break at this place, even at 90°+ degrees. The Burger and fried chicken are unique. It is not a fancy place, but it has a fair price and great food, definitely a must when you visit McAllen.“

This eatery located inside what seems like an ordinary, unassuming pharmacy; however, once inside you are greeted by friendly staff, a very good selection of OTC and prescription items and even a complete full service diner that has MUCH to offer in terms of variety from enchiladas, to taquitos, to full breakfast options and shakes etc.. and even at reasonable prices & you've got yourself a WINNER! I’ve tried a lot of burger places over the years, and nothing has topped Big Daddy’s Burgers so far. The burgers here taste authentic, fresh, and homemade—honestly, they remind me of the burgers my mom makes at home, and that’s one of the highest compliments I can give.

You can immediately tell the beef is fresh and high quality. The patties have that unique homemade flavor that you just don’t find at most chain restaurants. Every bite tasted like it was made with care, and the freshness really stands out.

The fries were another pleasant surprise. They have a very unique flavor in the best way possible. They taste like real potatoes, freshly cut and cooked, not the typical frozen fries you get everywhere else. They tasted natural, authentic, and perfectly complemented the burger.

The portions were generous, the food was fresh, and everything tasted amazing from start to finish. It’s rare to find a place where both the burgers and fries stand out, but Big Daddy’s absolutely delivers on both.

I’ve officially found my new favorite burger spot, and I’ll continue supporting this business as long as they keep doing what they’re doing. Thank you to the entire team for an incredible meal and experience. Keep up the great work!
