“So far I have tried different dishes and all of them are so good! The ceviche so delish, it has a kick of spice, but enough to taste the flavor of the fish. “Placing our order, Ashley was very helpful with suggestions for lunch. The meals were delicious. Our group had the Cobb salad, the rollups, the chicken kabobs and the steak. Everything was fresh and well cooked. Our melas arrived within a very reasonable time and were at temperature. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful which allowed us tp converse in a quiet tone. Ashely would stop by to check if we needed anything and Mr Gilbert, the owner also stopped over to greet us. All in all, the Bistro is a family friendly, clean restaurant that serves up delicious mediterranean meals. You will feel respected and treated like family.“

“If you want real authentic Korean cuisine this is the place to be at. I ordered Tteokbokki from the menu. This also came with an assortment of extras to sample or add to the main dish. Each item in the assortment was very tasty and authentic. Service was excellent and the decor was great with K-pop music in the background.“

“Today was my first time trying bison and I really enjoyed the burger. Their air fries are very good as well. Way better than deep fried. Their sweet potato brownies were delicious. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. We definitely recommend.“

“I was craving some good sweet potato fries, and I remembered that Birdie Bistro serves high-quality food. My best friend and I went on a Saturday afternoon, around 1:30 pm, and let me say, it was quite busy. We didn't have much hope of getting a fast sitting; however, the nice hostess was able to find us a two-person table on the balcony of the second floor. The view from the second floor: nice. My best, and I got to have the chance to people watch while conversing and waiting for our food to arrive. Our server, the most enthusiastic person ever, gave us very good service by providing us with different options of drinks, offering additional recommendations for our food, and his humor gave us a nice waiter and customer interaction experience. I got the sourdough turkey and avocado sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries, and my best friend got chicken alfredo with a side of garlic bread.
Although we arrived during their considered busy rush hours of the restaurants, what didn't work out for me was that only our waiter and another waiter were assigned to assist on the second floor. At times, no waiter would be on the second floor, or one waiter would be catching up to all the tables' assistance. I understand the waiter's hustle and commitment to giving the customers the best experience!
What worked out best for me is the location. The restaurant is a few streets away from Downtown and there are plenty of parking spaces to use while visiting the restaurant. There are plenty of walkable areas around the restaurant with some small businesses close to it as well.
Overall, I would really recommend this place to try out for brunch-related gatherings. The staff are very friendly, the food is really good with a lot of options to choose from, and the interior and exterior design of the restaurant is very pretty.“

The bread is warm, soft, and perfectly fluffy, the pork and ham are seasoned beautifully, and the dressing ties everything together with that authentic Cuban flavor. Add in a side of crispy, well-seasoned fries, and you’ve got a meal that feels like a hidden gem inside MFE.

“Stopped by to try one of the monthly specials. Our first visit here. The staff was great. They made sure to make our order the way we wanted. Very clean store. So many flavors to choose from. Then do I get a cone or cup. My wife got the waffle cone. She thought it had a chocolate dipped bottom. Alas it did not. So Ii helped her eat it. I like getting mine in a cup. The heir rewards app is great. It's easy to earn points for rewards. We will be back“

“My wife and I started coming here when we first started dating. We’ve spent a lot of date nights and a few birthdays here including my 21st. Mama’s is, to me, the best italian place in the RGV and will always hold a special place in my heart. The alfredo is the best I’ve ever had anywhere and the chipotle pasta is top tier.“

“The ONLY place I trust the food will be good every single time. I’ve been going for years and it’s never not been packed. Doors swinging open every second with to go orders or people wanting to dine in.
I usually go on instagram to see what new special a they’ve got!
Everything is FRESH and flavors are so good. You’ll be in a food coma once you’re done.
Also, the customer service is top notch. Super friendly and helpful, never rushed.
