“Let's start with , it is very hot in south Texas in July . The restaurant is a quaint little taqueria , with indoor and outdoor seating . We opted for the indoor so we could stay cooler . Well , it was a ' little better ' .The place was busy for lunch , there are about 15 tables of 4 inside and all but 3 were occupied . Nobody outside .So we placed our order and received our drinks and sat and chit-chated . We noticed the crowd thinning until it was just us . At the 45 minute mark of waiting for tacos , we got up and asked for our bill and told them to forget the food .They were extremely apologetic and said the food was ready and it actually was . A mistake not to inform us of a delay . Anyway , we got our food and disappointingly began to eat , everyone was quiet until we looked up at each other . We were all nodding in approval . The food was delicious , and the server checked on us frequently . Even brought us a signature GIANT stuffed baked potato , " on the house " .We all agreed that it was well worth the wait , first time there for all of us . I recommend the tacos with fried tortillas , yum !!“
