“A great brewery. Chatted with one of the owners and brew masters. Both were friendly. Best part was their beer! We tried three different beers. The Sunjuice, Cerulean Moon, and Ostré a Lehké Pilsner. All amazing. Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.“

“Oh wow I’m not a huge pizza fan but this pizza was amazing and huge. When my son told me how much it was I was a little skeptical but then we got it and it was amazing. I’m definitely ordering it again.“

“My mom and I came here for the first time today. And we absolutely loved everything. I had the best steak I've ever had in my life. I ordered it medium, and it was a little overdone, but still pretty freaking great.
Those parmesan fries though were just terrible.“

“Ordered two baked potatoes with brisket and turkey and they were a good size and I got it loaded with sour cream, butter and cheese. They came out smoking hot and the potatoes were soft and tasty. Would definitely recommend and the place is great for casual gatherings.“

“The service is always great as well as the atmosphere. Even as new restaurants open up around Brownsville, Toscafino still stands out as consistently great and always a good choice to dine. The last time I dined there we got Esmeralda as a waitress and she did an excellent job.“

“I cannot emphasize enough how much I enjoy the food at this particular Emilia’s location. The restaurant is consistently busy, which speaks to its popularity. Parking can be somewhat limited and tight, especially during peak hours.
One of the highlights is the value offered with their lunch specials, which typically include a small bowl of soup (fideo) and a dessert such as tres leches cake or flan—an added touch that enhances the overall dining experience. The restaurant is also well-maintained, with cleanliness clearly being a priority.
At times, the staff can appear overwhelmed due to the high volume of customers, and I have occasionally encountered service that felt less attentive. However, I understand that this may be due to heavy workloads or the training of new employees during busy periods.
Despite this, the quality of the food keeps me coming back. I highly recommend the Guadalajara Plate—it is exceptional. Overall, I truly enjoy dining here and would visit every day if I could.“
