La Gorderia de Torreon is an amazing little place with a great, old school atmosphere. The food is delicious and exquisite, exceeding expectations. The gorditas are really good, do not fall apart, and are cooked on the grill, not fried. They come in both harina and maíz. Specific must-try items include the chicharron prensado, the machacado, the raja con crema, and the chilaquiles with a creamy, spicy green salsa. Their cafe de olla is also delicious and a must. The service is friendly, exceptional, nice, and attentive. However, customers should check their receipts carefully as prices may sometimes be incorrect.
