“We absolutely love 956 Coffee! Their coffee is always excellent, and they create unique drinks that you can’t find anywhere else in Brownsville. It’s become part of our daily routine to stop by, and we especially enjoy trying their seasonal creations. Some of our favorites are the Rice & Beans (horchata with espresso – so good!), the Hazelnut Praline Latte, and the Apple Spice Latte. Every drink feels thoughtfully crafted and delicious. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff always make the experience even better. 956 Coffee is hands-down our go-to spot, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for amazing coffee and creative flavors!“

“I had been meaning to try this boba shop for a while, and I can say I will be returning! The atmosphere was very calm as there was no one there when I went. I ordered the strawberry matcha latte with oat milk due to them sadly being out of taro. My matcha had a fine, smooth taste and was not bitter. In addition, they carry ceremonial and industrial matcha powder. Overall, it was a nice way of spending time with my boyfriend 🥰“

“My first and second visit were great. Ricky helped me understand the menu, all the sugar free options and how I could personalize any drink. They have sugarfree syrups and drizzles for the tops of drinks which is very impressive. Ricky had such an upbeat and positive attitude despite standing in the sun at my window. He even ran inside quickly to make sure they got my special order correct. All of the staff were upbeat and moved the line very quickly. When you say large, it really is a large! I will definitely be back to try many more sugar free flavors.“

“First time at Vida Cafe and it was absolutely lovely! I seriously can't recommend their banana latte enough, or anything with banana and coconut for that matter (in my humble opinion, they were amazing). “We went to Matilda’s for a much-needed girls’ night, and it was such a fantastic experience! The atmosphere was warm and inviting—perfect for a night out to relax and catch up. The drinks were amazing, the food was delicious, and everything came out fresh and beautifully presented. A special shoutout to our waiter, Ricardo, who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great evening. He was attentive, friendly, and made us feel completely taken care of. We’ll definitely be coming back for another night out soon—highly recommend Matilda’s!“

“When you walk in the restaurant it smells welcoming and you can tell the love in the food. The waitress was warm and sweet to us. I went for my birthday breakfast and I wouldn’t have it any other way. 10/10 my grandma and pops used to come here when the Coffee shop first opened . “Plllllllleaase for the love of God don’t make your employees stand outside and take our order, the only reason I go HERE (other than the great drinks) is because I have a full view of the menu and I can take my time unlike 7brew or other drive through coffee places that feel like you have 3 seconds to order. I went yesterday and don’t get me wrong the employee was super kind and easy to talk to she didn’t make me feel rushed but i still did because there’s a human WAITING on you pls don’t do this, I’m not going back until i drive by and make sure there’s nobody standing outside 😭“
“This Starbucks is hands down the best one in Brownsville! Even though it’s drive-thru and pick-up at the window only, the service is incredibly fast and efficient. The staff is always amazing—friendly, welcoming, and genuinely smiling every time. My drinks are always made perfectly and never miss. The consistency here is unmatched, and the great service keeps me coming back every single time. Highly recommend!“

“Had an amazing time. Went for our first book club meeting. The lady was at the counter alone and taking multiple orders. She did so well under the pressure. Our drinks and food came out. They were amazing! I truly recommend this place. Its larger than it looks from the outside. Lots of street parking. Family owned! Please support them! It is well worth it!“
