Some of our favorites are the Rice & Beans (horchata with espresso – so good!), the Hazelnut Praline Latte, and the Apple Spice Latte. Every drink feels thoughtfully crafted and delicious. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff always make the experience even better. 956 Coffee is hands-down our go-to spot, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for amazing coffee and creative flavors!“

The drinks were amazing, the food was delicious, and everything came out fresh and beautifully presented. A special shoutout to our waiter, Ricardo, who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great evening. He was attentive, friendly, and made us feel completely taken care of. “This Starbucks is hands down the best one in Brownsville! Even though it’s drive-thru and pick-up at the window only, the service is incredibly fast and efficient. The staff is always amazing—friendly, welcoming, and genuinely smiling every time. My drinks are always made perfectly and never miss. The consistency here is unmatched, and the great service keeps me coming back every single time. Highly recommend!“

“Starting off with the positives. My coffee was good, I like that they have several sugar free options. My everything bagel was good as well. My order was correct and it was out in a timely manner.

I’m not a regular, and I don’t know what is in every drink. I asked about decaf options and the person taking the order mentioned they could do anything with espresso. I must have said something wrong because there was this sigh I heard and then a “that isn’t made with espresso I can get you this, or this. I kind of wished she had led with that. Then I ask, what sugar free flavors do you have? She said anything with an asterisk on it. Oh ok, Hazelnut, got it. I mean the person taking my order wasn’t rude. She answered my questions, she just wasn’t very helpful. In her defense, the sugar free options were in the screen. I guess what I’m trying to say is, as a customer that doesn’t visit regularly, its a little harder to find what you are looking for. Add to that, the fact that you are in the drive through and don’t want to make other’s wait time longer.
I mean the coffee was good, I just feel like the service is where in my opinion, they fell a little short. I didn’t complain at the window, and I feel like I try to be as nice as I can because I worked in service many years ago. Bottom line. Will I return? I don’t know.
