It was surprisingly good. It took me back to that shopping store diner that used to be at places like Kress and Woolworth. “Best burgers in Brownsville and it's no contest. You want a hot and I do mean hot, and fresh burger you come here. The meat has great flavor and the buns are hot and slightly toasted. Fries are thick unlike the sticks they serve at fast food places. They have the friendliest people working there as well. My grandmother and I come almost weekly from the other side of town just to get our burger fix here. This burger beats anything from Stars, Whataburger, Rutledge, and so on. “Burgers are tasty and inexpensive. You can pretty much get 6 large burgers for about $20 (without cheese but with lettuce and tomatoe) I think its $1 extra each for cheese but still its a very good deal. Service was fast and burger was made with care.“

“Food is always good, the flour tortillas are huge! I usually order to-go and I’m always told the food should be ready in 15 minutes but I do suggest that you order at least 30 minutes in advance. There is a 4% charge on purchases with a card which is understandable. The only issue I have is that I am pretty sure I was charged the 15% gratuity instead of the 4%. I usually order for several people so I never pay attention to the percentage because I never receive a receipt with charges listed. Yesterday I ordered something that was 8.99, I was charged almost $12 which is the total with 15% and taxes. Next time I will make sure to ask for a receipt with the breakdown of charges.“
