“Came around 1:30pm and there wasn’t too many people. Ryan was our waiter and he took our order and was very attentive and just exceptional customer service. Give this man more hours and pay if possible! It was also my first time there and man the food was super good, highly recommend it“

“Muchos años de preferir Luby’s pero hoy es la primera vez que no duermo debido a que se equivocaron al servirme café regular en lugar de decaf y son las 3:44 am y sigo sin poder dormir y con la presión alta, estábamos en la mesa a un lado de la estación de café y snacks antes de llegar al baño. Dejamos propina como siempre pero el servicio de meseros últimamente es deficiente“

“My mom and I came here for the first time today. And we absolutely loved everything. I had the best steak I've ever had in my life. I ordered it medium, and it was a little overdone, but still pretty freaking great.
Those parmesan fries though were just terrible.“

“Service with a smile is all I ask. And to top off my iced tea!
The soup is some of the best in the area, with a deceptively small bowl deep with tons of fresh seafoods like octopus, shrimp, fish, and calamari. Spiced to perfection. Hits the spot with the rice they serve on the side. Just dump the whole portion into the bowl, squeeze some limes and start enjoying!!“

“Our server was a gentleman that was above & beyond measure of the abundance of servers today . I sincerely wish I would've asked for his name . He made certain we wanted for nothing. We never had to ask for anything, he was excellent in awareness for service. Congratulations to him for his upcoming ceremony to acknowledge his bachelor's degree 👏.“

“Ordered their grilled shrimp over seasoned rice with a side of fried okra and the food was delicious.
The okra was very thick and crispy. The shrimp had an excellent savory flavor and the rice was a nice closer for the entire dish.
Longhorns across the state have been hit or miss, but this location in Brownsville was delicious.
The food was piping hot and the service was fast. I ordered takeout so I can’t speak to the atmosphere or the waitstaff, but the curbside attendant was kind and friendly.“

A special shoutout to Benny, who checked on us throughout the meal, made sure everything was perfect, and turned a great visit into a truly memorable one with his thoughtful, attentive service.
