My daughter and I were looking for a quiet, special place to have dinner as we had not seen each other for a time. We happened on this quaint and lovely bistro accidently. The service was outstanding from the hostess to the waitress to the young woman clearing the table. We sat outside on the patio and the ambience was perfect, soft music, twinkling lights. Nestled in the heart of McAllen, Birdies Downtown offers an exceptional dining experience that tantalizes the taste buds and delights the senses. During my recent visit, I had the pleasure of indulging in their Avocado Toast with smoked salmon, and I must say, it was an exquisite culinary journey. Highly recommended—Birdies Downtown McAllen is truly a gem worth discovering.

I went here for my birthday today and it was amazing! Our waiter opened the door for us, pulled out our chairs and made us feel very welcome! The food was amazing! I plan on going back all the time
